I bet no one had to mod their driveway so "Godzilla" wouldn’t keep the wife from parking in the garage!? Most unique mod award challenge has been issued.![]()
That would really irritate meYou may be first, but I need to extend my driveway so I don’t have to keep moving every time the wife wants to leave or come home.
I haven’t done it yet, but I will have to put the steering wheel on the right side of the truck because Ford built it with the steering wheel on the wrong side. Hopefully they got the rest of the truck right.I bet no one had to mod their driveway so "Godzilla" wouldn’t keep the wife from parking in the garage!? Steep ramp?I have a different issue. Truck doesn’t fit in the garage by literally 3-4 inches tops (length wise)... ideas?
Remove drywall and frame in a pocket for your front bumper. You can easily get 3-4” out of this.I have a different issue. Truck doesn’t fit in the garage by literally 3-4 inches tops (length wise)... ideas?
If there was nothing behind the wall (like the outdoors) You could bump the wall out say 6 feet by adding a lean-to addition. Having a space that is exactly the length of your vehicle stinks. You have to walk around the truck if you pull in next to a wall. At my last house I had 1/2 inch from the garage door to my tail pipe tip when I pulled in and tapped the bare studs. Dry wall closed that gap. At the current house I’m building a 3 vehicle carport to house vehicles while I figure out a detached garage design. It will look something like thisRemove drywall and frame in a pocket for your front bumper. You can easily get 3-4” out of this.
Bay window type mod to the wall (height width depth to generously accommodate the rear of your truck - since backing in gives you camera and senors) finish with simple shed roof over protruding area - skip actual window but frame and side to match existing garage.I have a different issue.
