Ford tracking shows it's built. Scheduled Feb1 Built Feb 2. Estimated delivery Feb 18. Dealer called they expect to see it Feb 22.

Any way to prevent them from putting the Joe Schmo Ford decal on it. How hard are they to take off? without damaging the paint. Will someone who applies ceramic coating remove it?
Paid a lot of money for it why should I give them free advertising.

You should be able to just tell them not to.

3m makes a wax eraser wheel that takes stickers right off with no damage. Then use 3m adhesive remover to clean it up.

if the sticker been on for a few hours they are easy to remove with no problems

Just call your salesman and tell him not to, we do it all the time for our customers

Like everyone said, just call your sales person up, they will ensure it isn't put on, or if it is then they can remove it. Don't use an eraser wheel, heck a hairdryer will often be enough if your fingernail cant do it.

I asked my salesman when I placed the order and he made a note in the file. The truck was delivered without the dealer sticker.

Mine was a sticker (Idaho) only been on like a week so it came off with hair dyer and fingernail. You know, everyone knocks CA for being quirky, but this seems to be something that occurs everywhere else but CA. At least in So Cal, dealers wouldn't get away with it. Some dealers got some jacked up logos and / or the size of them is crazy, don't know why buyers tolerate it.

For those wondering ordered Dec 5. pick up Feb 11. You can calculate the Lead time.

Hoping for your luck! Mine says it’s 15 days out! Overall 15 days is nothing compared to my 13 weeks overall.

I told my dealer no stickers, no emblems and no license plate frames with their name on it because I am just going to throw them away. They delivered the truck 245 miles to my house free of charge on a Saturday and there was nothing extra on it when it arrived ...

Hope they beat the promise date. I may have been lucky since I am close to the plant. 6 hour so they probably put on a truck rather than rail. It's worth the wait believe me. Does yours show built? Once it was built it went fast.

I use a heat gun (Milwaukee has an M18 that is good) to remove stickers; I like the dealers I buy from and leave mine on though

Dude, I dont have an issue with the topic, but ITS a GT500...just saying. The Chevy and the Dodge crowd get all spun up about horsepower totals and such. Then you have to remind them, Shelby = Tradition, Pedigree, etc and yours will be in a wrecking yard in 2-3 more years gathering dust....

True, VERY happy with it, so is the Wife, she was looking at the F150's, but she is happy we went with the SD Tremor.
