Hey everyone! Matt here! I’m excited to announce the launch of the 3rd product from Legmar LLC!

This is a 3D printed cap or cover that can be used to both carry and protect your Ravelco Plug. I use it daily to attach my plug to my keychain. This eliminates any need for a quick disconnect and keeps the metal prongs safe from dirt, pocket lint, or bending.

Special thanks to @Lunch Box and @Rodd187 for giving me feedback during the design stage! I so appreciate you guys!

Can’t wait to hear what yall think! 😄

Always fun seeing what people create. Looks great! I dont personally own a ravelco but I understand it enough to know this could be mighty convenient.

Does the ravelco have just that one dimple line at the 6clock position when reading the "Ravelco" on the cap... or is there more than one?

Disregard. Just clicked your link and see your piece is made to allow for four raised lines.

EDIT: i ask because i was curious if orientation was going to be a pain b/c of the inherent build of the ravelco cap but... its 4 sided making your device even that much easier to use and, likely, providing better retention

You’re very observant!! Yes, there is only one line or ridge on the plug, but I designed 4 slots it could fit to make it never more than a quarter twist of the cap to be able to slide it on from any orientation. 😄

Next time you’re near Austin, I’ll buy you a beer and let you play with mine in person to see if you like it 😎

I feel like I just got propositioned…. I might need one, the vehicle I have the Ravelco on is my Tremor which isn’t a DD, but it probably would be a good thing to have. That said I don’t wanna play with yours in person lol. Sounds like a line @Optimus would use. Hahahaha.

This Texas meat sounds like it's gonna be very interesting. I'm all for posting pics but there are some things better left...unpic'd 🤣

I had a feeling when I returned from my work call that just ended that this would be the situation waiting for me! 🤣🤣

I'll take it! I expect a nice pin or at least a magnet. 😎

It kinda defeats the purpose the way you show it with a key fob. Assuming a thief grabs/steals/takes at a gunpoint your key fob, he gets ravelco with it. As a rule and reccomendation from Ravelco themselves, I always keep the two separate from each other. With that in mind, what’s the point of this cover then. Pass for me until i figure out another way to use it possibly.

Haha, fair point... I guess my thinking is that if someone takes my fob, that means I'm dead, so... 🤷‍♂️

In all seriousness, the biggest benefit for me is a convenient and safe way to take the plug with me EVERY time I leave the truck. I know a lot of people only take the plug when they park in a new or unknown area, but I take it with me all the time. So, I think it depends what risk you're trying to prevent. Living in Central Texas, I'm mostly paranoid about someone trying to steal my truck by cloning my key fob, not stealing my actual fob. Therefore, having my plug with my fob is fine as long as I take both with me when I leave the truck parked somewhere.

You could also use the cap as a protective cover for the plug without attaching the cap to your keychain.

I too take it with me 100%. And keeping it in the jeans front small pocket all the time, it collects dust/dirt over time, so this cover makes sense. I’m thinking pairing a very small carabiner or oval ring like pictured might do the trick to just keep the plug and cover together which is what i would prefer to do. If you or someone have recommendation for one, i’m game:-)

I like the way you’re thinking. Would something like this be small enough?

If the ravelco cap was only shaped so you could make your cap fit on the back like the cap on a pen.

I use my cap/cover all the time. It keeps the pins clean and lint free when it is in my pocket. Highly recommend!

What you don't know about Legmar is, but dosen't necessarily apply to all, Legmar has an equalizer. Dude ain't getting his FOB!!! BIG mistake.
