2022 F350 tremor Lariat 7.3
Payload question. I’m willing to have a truck built and wait for it but I’m also wanting the highest payload possible for a f-250 7.3 gasser. You would think that Ford would already know all these numbers ahead of build with options you have chosen. Is there any existing database, website or something out there to pre calculate your max payload? Thanks

If you want max payload, you're definitely going to want to get an XLT. I believe I saw somewhere on the forums that a bare XLT Tremor had like a 4k payload for a f350! I would have to see if I can find the thread. So 250, I would say would probably be around 3-3500k payload for a XLT. I don't think there's any info on the 22s yet but essentially they are the same truck as the 21s, just updated interior.

The simplest answer is to get the truck with as few options as possible to get maximum payload capacity. With the Tremor you can’t option anything to increase payload capacity (e.g. camper package), so every option you add just adds weight.

To get an idea of what payload capacity you can expect, take a scroll through this thread and find configs similar to what you want: https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/tremor-payload.214/

If you find an F-350 that’s the same config, other than the fact it’s a 350, take 1300 pounds off the payload capacity for what the 250 would be rated for. That’s how much higher the 350 gas GVWR is over the 250 gas GVWR in the case of the Tremor.

the 250's are limited to the 10k GVWR limit if you want higher you need to go 350 and diesel to get the 11400 rating.

with the 10k rating on the 250 gas depending on options you're looking anywhere between 2400-3000 lbs payload. there is a thread on here where members have posted their payload stickers. I would check there.

Just FYI - Ford had a great tool available about a month ago - enter your VIN and get all towing stats - worked for a week or so (I tried it) and has disappeared - maybe it will come back?

You're in Georgia, why not a 350? Your payload will be much better with the 7.3.

Do you really need the Tremor? An FX4 with payload enhancement packages will have a higher capacity.

This is a NON Tremor, FX4 Lariat f350 diesel. No sunroof. Has bench seat (6 person). Hope this helps a little.

From what I have scene that’s not the case , the tremors have a higher payload than any and that includes adding the trailer package and camper package.

My 2021 F350 XLT Diesel has a 3400 payload. Someone on here created a spreadsheet with a lot of the forum members information.
Perhaps you're referring to this one, by @soop? https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/the-tremor-towing-table.4262/

It's a great table for towing ratings, but unfortunately it's difficult to add payload ratings to it. Payload capacity can change dramatically depending on how a truck is optioned so there's no one number a person can apply. Best way to know what payload to expect is browse posted payloads and come up with a range. Or go look at door stickers on a dealer lot (difficult right now due to lack of inventory).

While you could theoretically find maximum payload numbers for the various trims, assuming zero options added, it starts to blow up the table quite quickly. And is additionally not super useful because most people add some number of options to their truck.

Thanks all, I was hoping there was a way to get this info ahead of time but guess not. I just placed my order this week for a F-350 lariat tremor whoohoo :) now for the long wait lol. thanks for your help
