Maverick Tremor - degrading the marque?

The Maverick has some serious Ranchero / El Camino vibes... without the cool factor.

What's the over/under on a Ford Expedition/Explorer/Escape Tremor? If they're extending this badge to more vehicles in the line-up, hoping they wise-up and keep this to trucks (and not sedans with beds like the Maverick :ROFLMAO: ).
I'll disagree and agree.

The Maverick does have a cool factor. It's just small enough and just weird enough. It the perfect platform for a new mini truck craze. Think late '80s Nissan Hardbody stupidity.

Yes, it is a sedan with a small bed. Sit in a Bronco Sport and then sit in a Maverick, It's undeniable. But the Bronco Sport is an SUV! Yea. Sure. Whatever.

Escape, Corsair, Bronco Sport, Maverick are all built off of the same same "C2" platform which also supports the focus and Kuga in other parts of the world. Different sheet metal and interior features but same front drive architecture underpins each one.

My 67 Ranchero has a Big Block 4-Speed and mini-tubs; good for street use.
