Ladies and Gents, it is time to kick off another Tremor of the Month Contest! . The theme for the month is TOWING/Overlanding/Camping. We've had some awesome snowy and muddy Tremors win the last few TOTM contests. Now it's time to see some these Tremors showing off some muscle towing or camping. The winner will receive a special TOTM badge, forever be listed on the 2021 Tremor Wall of Fame page, and your truck will be featured on our social media pages.

1. Post your best Tremor photo in this thread. (You Must be the Owner and only 1 photo)
2. ? **** Post a short caption about the photo ***** ?
3. We'll leave this thread open until March 9th, 2020 @ 3:00 EST or when we have a total of 15 entrants. Whatever comes first!
4. All TOTM contest winners will not be eligible within 6 months of winning.
5. All entries will be posted in a voting thread and the entire FordTremor.com community will have a chance to decide the winner.

Good Luck!!

My truck’s snow beard is better than my facial hair!

Btw, pulling a 32 ft trailer in the snow was like nothing for this beast.

The metallic blue in the Antimatter Blue was making an appearance while I was loading the dump trailer with wood.
Love that color in the pictures that you show. Every picture you've taken of that truck and posted has just popped.

Been so busy this month I had no time for a Wisconsin winer shot

So here is a Summer Colorado shot of a dusty Velocity Blue Tremor in the middle of no where SW, Colorado with lake and mountains.

Zero degree temperatures with snow in a humid subtropical climate, multi-day power outages, and water supply problems are merely minor inconveniences when one is a happy owner of a diesel Super Duty Tremor.

First road trip. Went to explore the old Wurlitzer Organ factory. My mom worked there years ago. Sat deserted since the 70’s. Now it finally shows some signs of new life. To my surprise, a brewery opened inside!

I’d like to preface this post by stating that if I mention someone’s picture from here forward, it by no means is any sort of direct attack and is just an example to back up my argument. So basically I’m saying, I’m not trying to piss off anyone and I hope there are no boo boo faces as a result of my rant.
Each month I look forward to this contest, (I know I’m pretty lame) and I believe it’s a great idea and a perfect way to represent this site. Now with any contest, I feel that rules help make it seem legitimate resulting in a competition that is equally winnable for all entrants.
In fact, I’m a fan of the rules set forth for this contest and I guess that’s where I’m starting my question for the group. I’ll start with the easy one first, although it sort of tailors into the second one. Rule #3 states that the contest will remain open until (X) time or until 12 entrants are received. That sounds great. My only complaint/question is if we have that rule, should it actually be capped at 12? I know in previous months, there have been more than 12 a few times. So should it be open until (X) and get as many as we get... 15...25...50? Or do we cap it at 12 like the rules state?
That takes me to point number two. Some months we have a theme to the contest. Last month, for example, “dirty tremors” was the theme. Now if you look at the TOTM winner from last month, although it is an absolutely beautiful picture an certainly TOTM worthy, it doesn’t have a fleck of dirt on it. If the theme was “dirty tremors,” and we were adhering to the theme, that picture shouldn’t have even made the cut for voting last month. Same goes for this month so far. As of the last time I looked there were two entries that fit the theme of the month and the rest were nice pictures that IMO don’t belong in the contest this month based off of the theme.
Some of you may feel that it doesn’t matter either way,(and in the big scope of things it means really next to nothing) but I can see the members of this site are growing rapidly and I feel a conversation about what “rules” we follow or don’t follow could help legitimize the contest and the forum in general.
So
To sum it up my feeling is follow the established rules and cap the contest at 12 legitimate entries (that fit within the parameters of the theme if provided for that month and ultimately decided upon by @modified) or end it at the pre established time whichever comes first. I hope I didn’t offend anyone. ???

That is my mistake, I overlooked the theme portion!... im in agreeance with you. Rules are rules. :)

I concur. I would suggest leaving it open for X days and whoever submits a picture is entered with no cap.

I like the theme portion. It makes each month more interesting to see how contestants fit their tremor pics into the theme category. I also think it would be fun to have wildcard months where the theme is “any pic as long as it’s your tremor”. :)
As far as the cap on number of entries goes, I’m fine either way.

Speaking of themes and months, a calendar should be created from the TOTM winners. I'd buy one for sure.

Oops didn’t notice the theme but I drove a long ways to get that lunch and took backroads home. Feel free to remove mine from the final pics, I wouldn’t win anyway.

I don’t like the theme. The theme should be whatever the owner wants to put forth. Some do have advantages, mountains snow river crossings near their local, however great pics are great pics. The 6 month rule is great and may need to be moved to 12 as we get more members and entrees to this site:)

I do believe you are CORRECT sir and therefore I concur, so how about scheduling themes months in advance so that way if a Tremor owner finds himself in said theme, he snaps several pics, chooses his best pic and submits to corresponding month and theme. Reason I bring this up is I would like to enter my Tremor but with the theme being placed the day of and/or start of contest and then only haves approx 10 days to fit the theme along with a CAP. What say you
