1yr old, 13k miles. Tried to start truck, wow like 20 system faults come on, traction, fuel , collision etc, all over the place rapid fire on center display. I start clearing with the ok button as fast as they pop up, finally able to get it to start. Stupid me goes to the store, coming out of the store it does it again, only this time with maybe 30 or 40 pop ups, I hammer the ok button again and after several fails it starts. At home, tried it one more time in the driveway, massive pop ups and could not get it to start. Obviously will call my dealer and try and get it to them. Anyone have this shit happen to them ?

Check your floor for water leaks....and your kick panels especially the passenger footwell

I have heard of fuse boxes having water intrusion and or corrosion. Located on passenger side engine compartment behind front wheel.

Thank you, maybe will try blowing it out with air

That almost sounds similar to a u-Tube video I recently watched, this guy is a Ford tech and has some good videos on the superduty

Completely non starting, electric works on running boards, lights, seats etc, just no engine crank. Flat tow to the dealer next

I feel your pain. This happened on my 2019 Raptor. First road trip and I got every light possible and eventually a limp mode condition. It was POURING rain and I was busy removing the negative terminal from the battery and pretty much disconnected and reconnected every harness in that truck. I got it back rolling but it was a very stressful 8 hour drive home in the rain.

I think some water intrusion was possible.

However this happened again... and again once towing and another time driving from Barstow to Vegas in the dirt.

I took screen shots of Ford Pass, idiot lights and took the truck into the dealer. As I was waiting I found a thread about there possibly being a short on the passenger side rear wheel wheel. I told this to the service writer and he allegedly never heard of it.

A week later the truck was back and the symptoms had gone away. There’s absolutely a chance of a short which makes your BCM go haywire and that controls most of the idiot lights. The dealership said nothing was wrong and I called BS but whatever.

Truck ran fine the rest of the time I had it. I bought it in Feb 2019 and I think I read somewhere about other people have electronic gremlins. If you try to disconnect your battery and reset the BCM/secure harnesses you need to make sure BOTH key fobs are out of range and no way to interfere with your truck. I tossed mine in an ammo can over night.

I disconnected the negative terminal... left the dome lights/anything I could on to drain the charge and went to town during a camping trip once the trailer was disconnected. Somehow this fixed my problem for months until it did it again and I went to the dealer.

in another post on the forum I explained how my vehicle would flash every warning light on display, like 20 or 30 times, I would ok clear each one, finally it would start,,,,,then it didn’t, wouldn’t even turn, crank whatever,,,had power just no crank. So flat towed into dealer. I had seen some say it could be the bjb . Ford thought so also and replaced, free of charge..3 weeks or so later, yesterday it won’t turn off, you can push the on off button all you want, engines keeps running, seat does go back like the normal exit feature, but engine stays running. Scheduled again to go to dealer. What is the lemon law, mine is just over a year

Lemon Law is slightly different in each state I believe. There are def time/mileage limits though. Google your state Lemon Law info and it should tell you.

Huge bummer, My brother had issues with a Mustang GT. To get them to buy it back it needed to be in the shop off and on with them working on it 30 days. Just sitting waiting on parts doesn't count. They bought it back from him, full refund. His was towed to the dealership 5-6 times over 4-5 months.
They ship it off somewhere, and a manager ( executive ) drives it for a few weeks and they resell it as an "executive demo." Don't ever buy an "executive demo"!!!!!!!
My friend is a manager of another dealership and they do the same thing. As long as the car is bought back from the manufacturer they can fix it and resell it. Once it gets the "lemon law" they have to junk it.

Sadly, there is probably a solution for your truck, just need a good mechanic to find the short and replace all the affected computer components that may have been compromised. But I doubt anyone will spend the time and energy to do that. Could be a pinched wire someplace or a wire got snagged when building the truck, who knows.

KS Lemon Law

KS is pretty anti-consumer compared to neighboring states like MO.

Likely harness or BCM. My bet is harness.

Good Luck.

"there is probably a solution for your truck, just need a good mechanic to find the short and replace all the affected computer components that may have been compromised."

I fail to see how a computer gets 'compromised' by a short. How would a short change any of the code? If the short is diagnosed and fixed and the puters are re-booted why wouldn't they be good to go? Of course the operative element is finding the short , a devilish task in the best of times and with so many grounds on these rolling computers is it ever really possible?

edit: My coffee starved brain was equating short with bad ground.
I still doubt a true short would change any code.

Sounds similar to my experience. Ended up being bad wiring which shorted a couple of the control modules.

CANBUS dies, everything being sent by that controller address is MIA and a million DTC and warning lights go off

thank you all for your thoughts and insight,,i love the truck, other than the tiny gas tank(if the diesel body can fit an aftermarket 60 gallon tank, they should let us have a 60 gallon Tank)
scheduled for a week from tomorrow to go in, i will update, until then it sits in the driveway

A short doesn't change code, it disables/damages interface circuits. If an input circuit is damaged, then it may not see when you turn the key off, if an output circuit is damaged, then it may not be able to turn off the dash idiot light. Often a interface circuit is only partially damaged and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
