I was talking bed steps, not full length running boards. $270 each - $540 a pair - is a lot.

I just put the RBP steps on. I paid $1399 with the extensions. AMP wanted $1799 with extensions. The shop charged me $150 for the install.

Check 4 Wheel Parts. They seem to always have big sales or discounts available. That's where I bought my AMP steps, wheels, & tires.

Low priced alternative that works as well as a 250$ amp or better? Found a nice stainless steel one that slides out and supports 500 pounds but it was 335$ per step.

This is a tall order.
