Locking gas cap for 7.3L - interest?

Would love to get a locking gas cap for my MY22 7.3L. Has anyone found one? If not, any of our awesome vendors going to make one?

Yes. Eventually we will be making Tank Warden for gas trucks if they fit the same as the diesel filler neck.

@ccw is beta testing a gas one. This is something that will then have to go through CARB certification after he has the cap for at least 6 months with zero evap codes.

The good news is he's almost at the 1 month mark with his unit, so we started the clock already.

Nothing needs changed in the design, just has to go through CARB and EPA, something I don't have the time or money to do for quite awhile. If someone has the resources I need, I'd be all ears.

I don’t know anything about the EPA or any laws but could you just sell them as is and label them “offroad use only” or something similar to take the onus off of you? Kinda a use at your own risk thing? Just a thought.

That was the same loophole the delete companies tried to do with Diesels, that doesn't work.

@ccw has the only gas cap in existence and testing it for me. No issues to date!
