Wanted to do an air locker setup for the front diff. My expectation is that I should be able to maintain the LSD front and just add the full locking ability to this.
Is this correct?

Has anyone done this on the front yet? If so, what part/#'s?

A Ft locker is unforgiving on slick and soft surfaces, guaranteeing you off the trail or into the ditch. At speed, you can't turn out when both front wheels are locked and spinning at the same speed. They're pulling you, wherever it gets traction, you're going.
Front Lockers rule in Slow and Steady, like Rock Crawling. Both front tires are locked, spinning at the same speed, pulling you over the obstacle at a controlled speed. You can learn to control a Limited Slip. You can take a Rear Locker and Front Limited Slip truck wherever you want, or as far as it'll .. fit.

I haven't look at this front diff yet but usually you have to completely remove the carrier and replace. It's either open or locked. Drilling and threading these axels to add the airline should be real fun.

I have ARB lockers on my Jeep front and back limited is all you need up front.

Check out Ox Offroad. I’ve seen a few SD overland rigs with them. I’m not sure if it allows you to maintain the limited slip function when not locked. I bet they can answer that for you.

Thanks for the input. To clarify, yes I've ran front lockers and I'm aware of their behavior. I'm looking for something to get me unstuck when it's really shitty. The front LSD is pretty mild unless you're in ssand/snow mode, even then it's not 1:1 like I'd get with the lockers.

I do like the LSD in general, which is why I'm trying to see if I can lock the LSD rather than remove it...

Detroit Truetrac IMO is the best compromise for the super dana 60 front. I already have one sitting in the garage when the 22 Tremor arrives. If you off road most of the time in ruts, ditches sand etc, then ARB air locker or Detroit Locker is best .

Otherwise Truetrac all day in the front.

I tried asking a while back, alot of good info but on forum but not many off roaders here. Most people assume you will be running the lockers full time lol. I am also interested as I'm coming from a powerwagon and lockable front is like crack cocaine. It will be hard not having one.
