I'm looking to customize my load binders to be able to connect directly to D-Ring's by adding an “end” that has a Clevis Sling Hook / Slip Hook.

Anybody know where I can buy load binder “ends”, or whatever something like this is called:

This photo is from Laclede Chain who has a configurator for custom load binders. But I just want new ends for existing load binders.

For more context, I currently have some Peerless Quik Binder's:

And I want to covert the “ends” to be like these binders:

But I'd rather not buy all new binders just to harvest the “ends”.

Unfortunately my Google skills are failing me. I'm hoping I just don't know the proper nomenclature?

I wasn't able to find the ends by themselves either. Wonder if you can just build the end you want yourself using a hammerlock or equivalent rated/forged connector and the hook you want after cutting off the old one.

Side note: I saw, on someone's YouTube video, the speed binders where you can use a cordless impact wrench on, and they look sweet!

Good idea.

Those are neat, but I think they'd only be worthwhile if you're regularly tightening MANY binders (like on a semi-trailer.) I saw some speed tests where it really only saves a second or so per binder (which is lost in time finding your impact wrench.) The big benefit seems to be saving your wrists.

If I had endless money (and room to store all of the things) I'd probably go for the Ancra EZ Binder for my use case (rarely using more than 4 binders at a time.)

Those ones are really nice too!

Here's the video segment of the ones I saw yesterday:

OK I think you're on to the better direction to go in.

This way I'll be able to make a “sling” on one end while also leaving the grab hook on for versatility. e.g.

Awesome. Would a D ring shackle be more versatile for the one end instead of the clevis slip hook with thin safety latch?

I suppose I could also just pony up for pre-made chain slings to replace my transport chains.

Would work great for the excavator, but I'd need some extra anchor points on other equipment. 🤔

And this is why my trailer boxes are full of crap. 😂

This topic is outside my wheelhouse lol, but Tow Piglet (hot shot driver and business owner) linked to the site he buys his equipment from. Figured I would share a link to it in case it has what you’re looking for:
