Leveling Kit questions

Hi all, I’ve been reading various threads relating to leveling kits. it seems like there are various types available for our trucks out in the marketplace. And they are at various price points. All seem to raise up the front of the vehicle so that it’s aesthetically pleasing to the owners eyes. But I would assume that the lower priced kits that contain a spacer of sort, would put more preload on the front shocks and provide a harsher ride? Im leaning towards a Carli kit, but are there lower cost options out there that do not use spacers?

I can only comment on the Carli kit, I love it, rides better than stock. It is pricy.....?
