Selling a brand new Trailer Camera in the box, hasn't been opened. Part number is LC3Z-1A189-C, when you google this you will find that it says TPMS sensor, but this is not the part that has the sensors, it is only the camera and the cable to hook it up to the bed for use on the Aux Camera. Took me a while to find one of these from a dealership. Most dealerships would let me order and then when they found out it was backordered through Ford, they would cancel my order.

Anyway, not using it, not installing it, not removing it from the box. My wife was going on an extended vacation while I went on a work trip and was going to use it on our camper. I lost my job last week, so now I'm going on the vacation. ;) Trailer camera not needed.

Asking for $350 and I will cover the shipping via FEDEX or UPS to you. I can get it in the mail today. I've got Venmo or Paypal.

Where does it plug into and do you have to have an upgraded backing system?

This one plugs into the 5th Wheel trailer package (inside the bed), or can comes with an alternate plug that replaces the one on the outside of the bumper for traditional trailer. It has 50 foot of cord and then becomes your auxillary input when you have it plugged in. I've got the high capacity tow and the fifth wheel option but that shouldn't matter either way.

This guy has the same system (his has TPMS for the trailer and mine doesn't) and walks through the entire setup in a series of videos:

Part numbers may not make sense, but they appear to change the part numbers every few years and mess everything up.

Rico, thanks for posting those! I've been dreading doing that but those vids make it look a lot easier. :giggle:

My trailer came with a camera but it is mounted 10' up and the lens seems to usually be dirty. It also requires its own monitor which conveniently nestles face down in the dash tray while under way (note the naval jargon ;)). The worst thing is it is powered by the cigarette plug so there is always a rat's nest of wires.

I'm thinking of mounting the Ford on the bumper for a better angle in a custom metal security enclosure.

That would be pretty dope for the mount. I just lost my job, so keeping the camera at this point is a little frivolous, and since there is two of us taking our trip out west, gonna just stick to the yelling method. :) I like your location (Commiefornia), I grew up in Ventura and will be out with the rig camping at Hobson the week of Memorial Day. It will be about 10 weeks on the road with my wife and two sons this summer. Time to take some time off, rest and recharge.

Sorry to hear your bad news but perhaps it will be a blessing in disguise? Sounds like a wonderful trip you have planned and which you no doubt deserve.

On questionable backups I almost always GOAL, then I send my First Officer back there with her walkie-talkie. The ONLY thing I want to hear out of her is 'STOP!' 'Helpful advice' is rarely helpful.

Sold~ Thanks!
