Looking for the next one…again
Not just a leak after only 4k miles, it’s totally gone and it has not had any real off-road duty yet. I’ll chalk it up to a random defective shock. Dealer says he needs to inspect it first (photo not accepted) 60 mikes away and then order one...keeping an eye out on the others. Read elsewhere these are just crappy Rancho’s with a “Tremor” label, ? If anyone knows for sure, please share

They're ranchos I believe (not totally sure about the brand though) but larger fluid capacity than the ones on standard superdutys. I'm not totally sure how much different from the standard shocks but they're different. To say they're crappy, I can't comment, I don't have much experience with other trucks and their shocks. They seem fine to me. Then again, I haven't had any issues with mine.

FYI Rancho’s are typically a lower end shock with a sticker. Decent for most road use... i’ll probally change all of them to Carli, fox, or other higher quality shock when i get some custom progressive rear leaf packs from Deaver.

Like tires and brake pads it is a wear Item. Its understandable to get them warranted with only 4k miles. Most likely I will roll mine until they wear out or fail then upgrade. Keep in mind the suspension is supposed to be "tuned" and the damping rates of these shocks is matched to the spring rates. So if you keep original springs the OEM shocks may be the way to go.

I don't believe anyone has provided proof they are rebranded Rancho shocks.

I remember watching a video (from TFL I think) where they interviewed a Ford Engineer who said they were made in-house for the Tremor. I'll try to find the video.

Some good info here also: https://www.autoblog.com/2020/02/19/2020-ford-tremor-suspension-deep-dive-super-duty-f250/
I cant find anywhere online where the shocks were specifically addressed other than theyre larger than a normal superduty. No idea if they're Ranchos or not, although I wouldn't be surprised.

Update, dealer is replacing, no problem. He did not know who the manufacturer was
