@Bluezilla suggested that I do a write-up of the Jimmi Jammer products that I'm installing/will be installing on my truck that was delivered yesterday.

My first install is of the Gate Keeper theft deterrent mod. This is really simple and takes longer to gather the tools than the actual install takes.

Needed:
  • Jimmi Jammer Gate Keeper part #200750 (includes L shaped wrench)
  • 10mm socket and ratchet to remove factory bolt
  • Blue threadlocker (my preferred is the gel type since it's less messy)
  • White lithium grease or equivalent
Photos in order of installation (straightforward):

This is pretty cool
It should be enough to stop the neighborhood tweakers from stealing my stuff.

Thanks :) Check out my other Jimmi jammer thread for the hood latch.

Where did you purchase yours? I’m about to order up a storm

Great write-up and it looks to be a fine product. I am not sold on doing this, but maybe if I begin hauling some pricy cargo.

The first time that happens to me - I am all over the upgrade!

I had these on my doors for the notoriously ineffective door mechanisms up until the model change. Had my truck broken into while on business in San Antonio. Also now have the center console safe. Let me tell you, having that installed at the factory is a godsend. I have installed them myself and there is a lot of swearing involved.
