looking at the pic from the main page i thought that SOB was on fire LOLAdded some more lighting. This time rock lights. After being out with a couple people with them I can see the added benefit when off-roading at night for spotters to be able to see what's happening below. Plus I wired them up hot so when taking a break and the truck is shut down it is lit up with them nicely with little power draw. 90 bucks for a set of 12 off Amazon and another 50 for the switch I used. Same overseas pods that I used in my bed but amber. I ended up mounting 11 so far. The rear I think I need one for each corner since a center either forward or rearward of the spare would get blocked too much by the spare. TBD. Anyways one in each wheel well. 3 down each side between the wheels and one under winch area. LOVE them. Kind of a time consuming project and lots of laying on your back under the truck time to install but in the end happy.
Back to that $50 buck switch... I'm out of upfitters. Pondered and pondered and looked all around the dash and just wasn't seeing the time it would take to put a switch in the dash. A whole lot of tearing stuff apart to get to where I would want a switch. So did some digging and came across a product line called Trigger and their Trigger One wireless relay. All runs off an App. I figured what the heck. Works like a charm. Plus I am able to strobe them and dim via the App. TBD on longevity. If it was something critical or I need right now I'd stick to the upfitters to skip the wireless technology but for what I am using it for perfect. If it failed no biggie.
They're not as bright as this pic makes them out from last night. A friend took it with some night mode and everything got enhanced. Like it though New FB profile pic!

Where can I get those cup holdersI was totally surprised to get a text yesterday afternoon that my Tremor was here! I couldn't type I'm ready now fast enough. lol. He said in a few hours since they needed to inspect and detail. I cleaned out the 2013 F150 FX4, hit the car wash for a nice appearance for trade in purposes and was off to the dealer.
+/- 7 weeks. Works for me! Wasn't supposed to be here until the 17th. Ordered Jan 17 with a truck order processed date of 20 Jan.
Sport, Ultimate, 7.3L, dual batteries/alternators, bed cover, etc, etc. Most of the goodies. Did my first upgrade with the cup holders last night. They just happened to show up yesterday. Time to go mess with it. Didn't get home until well into the darkness hours last night so only have a couple miles on it.
Got a small pile of stuff in the garage for it. Built right bed storage, etc all ready to be installed.
Tom
There's a link somewhere back in this post. Someone on Etsy.Where can I get those cup holders
Nice, I saw your arb mount, do you have any concerns about people stealing that being mounted out in the open or do have some quickdetach system? The basic little white stickers I printed using some little machine my wife has only lasted so long. Had to upgrade. These look like they belong. 20 and change off Amazon.

That 7.3 sounds good! After a couple hour training session with new to off roading/off road recovery that we do quarterly, SNORR (Southern Nevada Off Road Recovery) had a fun run in the dark. I'll claim king of the hill? Only one to make it!
Tom
There's a bed cover so not totally exposed to the world.Nice, I saw your arb mount, do you have any concerns about people stealing that being mounted out in the open or do have some quickdetach system?
Looking sharp, congrats!Still haven't driven it since leaving the dealer last night. About ready to head out and put a few miles on it. Just had to get the bed partially done Been buying stuff here and there waiting for it to show. Might make a few adjustments to how I mounted everything up. I'm extremely happy with Built Right Industries bed rack system. Everything mounted up solid!

What spare tire rack is that?So my last post unless someone asks about something.
Finally sold the Tremor. Did a private sale Memorial weekend and it is on the east coast now. Just didn't need what it is capable of towing wise and I just couldn't go where everyone else goes/where I wanted to go due it being so darn big. Plus sold the boat.
I didn't waste any time and my newest toy was in my hands later the same day I sold the Tremor. I wanted the diesel version but there wasn't one within 600 miles of Vegas and being vehicle less ordering wasn't an option. Anyways I'm a Jeeper now. Duck me!
Still building/waiting on stuff to show. Winch bumper is on a 12 week hold . Rock sliders are being built locally/going on in a couple weeks. Several other items are ordered and waiting...
ARB twin, light controls, rock lights, chase lights aux rear lights, radio, tablet, several other items I'm sure I'm missing installed and A-Pillar lights. Lift/suspension done. Just a waiting game on the other stuff.
2021 3.6L Rubicon Gladiator. 4.10s, front and rear lockers, electronically disconnecting front sway bar, etc.
EVO stage 2 suspension. King remote reservoir shocks, etc. 37" MT Thompson tires and Method beadlock rims.

Certainly no 7.3L on the power. Some refinements not there but over all a total hoot to drive and the places I've already put it had me scratching my head going there's absolutely no way a vehicle can go there... fun extremely capable ride!

DV8.What spare tire rack is that?
Back in the mid 70s, we were attending a Jeep rally in the desert, near California City, CA when we saw a guy stuck in mud like that in a "dry" lake. When it was all over, there were over a dozen of us all hooked up to each other like a huge train, and we finally made it out after several hours. The mud was of just the right consistency that it stuck to all 4 tires in such a way that it looked like I was driving on 4 clay pots laying on their sides. Fun times! So this happened today. These gentlemen from Vegas got themselves into a little mess last night up in Utah just off Warm Creek Bay Lake Powell. Just hundreds of yards away from their planned camping spot. They hiked ~5 miles to get cell service and after not a lot of luck that didn't involve thousand/s of $$ nearby they hit up the SNORR, Southern Nevada Off Road Recovery FB page. Not ones to leave anyone stranded we accepted and embraced the challenge leaving the house at 0330 this morning and getting back home at 1700. 552 miles covered, which many of I have never been on. Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Arizona and finally back into Utah again then reversed. Beautiful scenery everywhere as this drive skirts Zion National Forest. What a great day!
The Raptor was an easy pull but the thick gooey mud wasn't about to give up the Jeep Gladiator without a struggle. Eventually both made it to solid ground. The winches got a serious workout today.
I've never ever encountered mud like this... The videos below do not lie!
We first checked it out from this side but 200ft or so of goo to solid ground. From the Raptor side it was solid right up to a truck length or two from the Raptor.

So I'm in the back. Heavy weights last just in case. (Send in the Jeeps and Toyota's first!!! The Guinea pigs ?) I anchored the Jeep winching. The Tacoma took 50% of the pull weight since we rigged the lines using a snatch block to double the pulling power with the end of that line going to the Tacoma.
