I was totally surprised to get a text yesterday afternoon that my Tremor was here! I couldn't type I'm ready now fast enough. lol. He said in a few hours since they needed to inspect and detail. I cleaned out the 2013 F150 FX4, hit the car wash for a nice appearance for trade in purposes and was off to the dealer.

+/- 7 weeks. Works for me! Wasn't supposed to be here until the 17th. Ordered Jan 17 with a truck order processed date of 20 Jan.

Sport, Ultimate, 7.3L, dual batteries/alternators, bed cover, etc, etc. Most of the goodies. Did my first upgrade with the cup holders last night. They just happened to show up yesterday. Time to go mess with it. Didn't get home until well into the darkness hours last night so only have a couple miles on it.

Got a small pile of stuff in the garage for it. Built right bed storage, etc all ready to be installed.

Welcome to the forum!!! Keep us posted on your build and opinions of your new truck.

Still haven't driven it since leaving the dealer last night. About ready to head out and put a few miles on it. Just had to get the bed partially done ;) Been buying stuff here and there waiting for it to show. Might make a few adjustments to how I mounted everything up. I'm extremely happy with Built Right Industries bed rack system. Everything mounted up solid!

So clean!

Did these about a month ago. Love them with the boat! Rigid D-Series Pro w/flood beam.

Just did these this afternoon. Sitting here waiting for darkness so I can run out and test them... Mount still needs a little work to be dialed. Baby steps. Rigid D-SS Pro (side shooter's) w/spot main beam.

Looks great! I am wondering about your mud flaps. Are those Ford or aftermarket?

I should have ordered the factory mud guards. I think maybe I'll use Ford Pass points to order them from the dealer. Do they encroach into the wheel well a lot?

They are. Pretty easy evolution. I used one of the rear bumper mount bolts to mount them. To do so you have to open the hole in the Rigid mount a hair to accommodate the bigger bolt in the bumper. Once mounted you will notice the area isn't level. All you have to do is bend the two mount tabs to vertical. I also mounted/used the Rigid mounts "backwards" which brought the lights in closer to the bumper. A little dremel/ grinding wheel work was needed on them to allow enough clearance to aim them where I wanted. I leveled the lights exactly identical to the hitch face which points them up a hair with the truck unloaded and aimed both straight back. Perfect for me.

There isn't enough wire in the kit for an install like this. I used the included harness up to the "Y" then snipped the rest off and attached/ran 25ft or so of 14ga insulated/encapsulated wire through the passenger side hollow frame to just forward of the front wheel then up a foot and wired to the upfitter wiring. Running extra distance forward in the frame avoided being anywhere near exhaust pipes and manifolds.

Once you find the tapped up bundle of wires for the upfitter you pull all that tape and there is a paper note saying which wires go where.

Wiring I got off Amazon for this job. Spendy but I liked how insulated the wires were knowing I was just going to have them flopping around inside the boxed/hollow frame.
