I picked up my F350 Platinum 6.7 Iconic Silver Tremor BEAST yesterday. After waiting 142 days for it, from the time I ordered it (8/24/20) till the time it arrived 1/13/2021. Then getting some lights and other mods done from the dealer, I finally picked it up on the 149th day 1/20/2021. The wait was so BRUTAL. I PRAY all of you do not go through the agony I had gone through. Now that I have it The pain has disappeared and replaced with absolute EXCITEMENT and JOYFULNESS. But the bad memory is still lingering. It needs to be replaced with memories of sick adventures. One can only dream of Wolfser fun ass life. Wolfser is the MAN THAT IS TRULY LIVING LIFE TO ITS FULLEST.
So as I waited so damn long I started second guessing my choices. Should I have gotten the Lariat with the Black Out package instead of the Platinum. Should I have gone with Velocity Blue or White or one of the other colors other than Silver. Should I have gotten the gasser 7.3 over the Diesel 6.7, especially since I NEVER owned a diesel before. My truck was going to be just under 100,000$ with tax and with out all the other mods i had bought and the worry of being dissapointed.
So when I pulled up and saw my Beast all clean with my Pillar Lights shining from GODS beautiful sunshine I knew I picked the Right color. Then when I went thoroughly through the truck searching for imperfections, and having my great salesman ( Matt Brooks Newins Bayshore Ford) show us all the features, I knew the Platinum was the right choice for me. The seats alone are the absolute Bomb. The massage feature for someone like me that had so many surgeries and still has aches and pains make the ride an absolute delight. If you had Scitatica Pain shooting down your ass cheek going into your upper thigh, the massage hits that one area. I was super surprised. Then lower lumbar gets worked also, and finally your shoulder bade area. SWEETNESS. Then theres this red stiching throughout the complete Black Leather Interior. So classy. My wife was in love with it. My Jaguar has a sick interior and so does wifeys Rang Rover Velar and this was up there also.
The screen was a bit of a dissappointment. Its fine but not what you would expect from this classy interior. Screen seems tiny compared to the HUGE cab. The Huge sunroof is a must for me and the wife. I open it up all the time with my Jag. My Jag you get to feel the wind more than the Beast. I didn't feel the wind or the cold with the Blustery conditions of the cold ass winter day/night we had yesterday on Long Island NY. The big back seats look great for a romp of some LOVE MAKING as Donny is a True LOVER. So all the seats are sick.
The Black faux on the door trim and phone charging area is also another reason to go with the Platinum. I'm not a fan of the fake brown wood. This is super classy Black with some lines in it. Door arm rest is super soft, as is the really soft steering wheel. I love the deployable foot boards look when they are up.
I hate the 2 beeps when you close the front door. Twice yesterday i was got out of my truck to get a pic or a look at her and the horn beeped. and twice someone driving by stopped and rolled down there window and said yes can I help you. I was like oh no thats the stupid horn. You can turn it off on settings but next time you start the truck you have to program it again.
The retractable bed cover is awesome. It locks and it can open at any position and locked into place. Super sleek look with it being flush with the side of the bed. LOVE IT. The bed step i also love. I do wish it went further under the truck but so be it. I used it 3 times yesterday. Love it. The tramp stamp Platinum Badge is also super classy IMHO. Wifey loves it also. I was going to have it blacked out and the letters showing chrome I THOUGHT. For now im going to leave that BEAUTIFUL BADGE SHINY and I have black vinyl letters to get added.
Now I drove her and truly owned it. Took it out for 100 miles yesterday just Joy riding. I hated the REGEN. It stunk out my cab until I opened the sun roof. Wifey was loving everything about my truck but that. So I second guessed the diesel choice for the first 30 miles. It has so much power and torque to spin the tires at ease. Driving in crowded town roads in the day was shitty with everyone up my ass or riding slower than a snail. I did feel the lag that everyone was speaking about. It would spin the tires 7-10 times when I floored it but the 3-10 times it would be a delayed reaction. I have the Banks Pedal Monster to put in and I was told it makes all the difference.
The tires do make the truck not stay straight as everyone says. It goes a bit to the left and then you adjust it it goes to the right. Wifey was not impressed with that also. But Im getting suspension and new wheels so it is what it is. I was hoping my suspension would show up before I put 1000 miles on the tires and it would be great wheels for someone else.
Now the more I drove her the more I got used to the diesel. I thought about it and the Diesel is not the best for crowded towns and suburbs. But the long rides and being able to get that 55-60 gallon tank and go 1000 miles before fill up will be way worth having the diesel. I plan on getting an RV and the engine brake alone is worth having a diesel. Plus I plan on leaving the suburbs of this BULLSHIT LIBERAL STATE OF NY and getting into open country when Donny doesn't have to stop and go every 2 mins is also worth getting the diesel. So yes I'm happy with my choice of the 6.7.
We got dinner last night after riding in, after work traffic, and After a fine Seafood Meal of Shrimp (Donny doesn't eat meat and only 3 meals as an offering to GOD on Wed and Fridays) and 3 Pints of Bud Light we went for a ride at night to the beaches to try out the new LP6 lights. It was a blast. The deer come out to feed on the sides of the wooded and beach areas. Those amber lights lit up the whole area that made it feel so majestic. It was truly a must have.
The more I drive her the more Used to driving this TANK i get. I took her to Church today the following day of picking her up, and was loving life. Wifey and I are getting ready for a fun day of finding some open roads and cranking out some XM Radio and making it an adventure. Going To Get some lunch and enjoying LIFE TO ITS FULLEST. Praising, and Thanking JESUS CHRIST for Blessing me so much. If you didn't get your Beast yet, you will be truly blown away by the sure power and elegance of the TREMOR especially with the Platinum Trim. ? ? ? ???
Blessed Donny Lucky Mother Fucker Out

The Duratracs will settle in about 500 miles ( i know your getting rid of them) I still haven't had any foul smell from mine but I don't let it idle or short trip it. Maybe the smell is just the new truck smell of some coating burning off the exhaust. I can't believe it would regen that soon, unless it had a huge amount to idle time.

Do I second guess things, sure I think everyone does. I used to second guess the diesel decision until I went on a road trip and my buddy chased me out to Colorado in his gasser. We had to constantly stop so he could fuel and going up the mountains he was on the phone asking me to slow down as his gasser kept downshifting and revs were coming up all the time. When we descended the mountain. I had my adaptive cruise on with the engine brake, it was so easy, again he was complaining constantly about downshifting and his brakes, bla bla bla.... We both had small enclosed trailers mine was 7,500 his was only 3,500 lbs. Both trucks 2020 Fords SDs. So I don't second guess that any more.

So congrats on the Truck you choose wisely well except for not getting "Velocity Blue" but hey can't all be like dannyboy now can we?????

@Iron Man,

What you are smelling is more than likely the brakes!!

I used to take all the brand new vehicles for test drives when I was working for Ford and they ALL produce a burning smell for the first few hundred miles. ( Try explaining that to a potential buyer on a test drive LOL)

They are just burning off the coating that was on the pads..

@Iron Man, I had the same smell and @Yukon Bush Tremor is 100% correct. You probably won't experience that smell again. I'm 2200 miles into mine and that smell lasted about 200 miles (if that) and I haven't had it again.

@Iron Man where are the pics!! I have to see the after market lighting you had installed! stop holding out on us.

That may be the nicest Tremor on earth. Lol
Glad you're enjoying it.
I'm trying to get 1000K on my Superduty so I can start pulling the trailer, drove it all day in Gods great creation.

Yeah man SWEET. It’s mostly beaches for me. Enjoy life to its fullest and giving thanksgiving to GOD for what HE has blessed you with. Can’t wait to see pics and hear the stories of the Tremor pulling your RV on sick adventures.

Come on down bro and I'll hook up the Foreskin and turn off all those annoying beeps for ya.
