Interior Light Color Change

Has anyone changed out thier lights inside the cab? My 4 year of likes the light on in the back. So I’m looking to do a blue, red, or green color. Leaning more towards blue because my trucks blue.
If you have what company/brand did you go with?

im not sure what model you have but on my platinum i have the ambient lighting, go into the settings in the nav screen and turn up the brightness the truck glows blue all over inside.

you would just need to get a light kit for your truck if you want different colors but if you have a lariat ultimate you should already have the ice blue color lights in the cab... for your doors, cup holders, and doors ... settings are on the sync 3 screen

I have the ambient lighting. But i want to switch out just the light on the roof inside the back. My daughter loves turning it on/having it on. So if I can switch just that bulb out, then she can leave it on. Without it being a big distraction.

Almost positive I could change the colours on my 2017 Platinum. Seen folks talking about them removing that feature on another forum. I wonder why it was removed.

can't change the color which i would like to add it to mine .... my 2017 fusion and 2018 edge can change the color

You can change the colors on some Fords, like Mustang for example, but hope you like blue on the superduty, that is what you have.

You could always do a tinted film over the lens. Quick and easy. I'd go for orange or red so as to not interfere with nighttime vision

My 2017 Platinum Ultimate could change the lighting color. I’m starting to wonder if it could be done in forscan or if they really changed the LEDs for cost reasons.

i think they changed the leds... so can tou add it is my question

i had it on the 17 i just replaced it with a 21 and im disappointed. i liked that the doors went red when they were open.

My Abbie t lights work fine. It’s the light one the ceilings I want to change the color of.

Not sure if this is possible on the newer trucks. It’s all LED, which most likely is a soldered chip not a bulb.

You can easily change the color of the ambient lighting with Forscan. There’s a list of available colors already present in the truck.

I tried changing the color in FORscan a few weeks ago but the truck doesn't respond to the change. I think we're all stuck with the greeny-blue.

Yea that's what I figured as we don't have the rgb led we have just the ice blue led
