Good choice on that Bulletproof Hitch. I got one on my work truck and I wish I would have found them before I bought my B&W.

Yes, I've seen the Toyo AT lll, very nice tire. My Tremor just came in 10/10/20. I will be going to that tire after the Goodyear tires wear out. I'm a Road Armor Dealer and I have the Stealth front bumper.
and the Stealth rear bumper.
I have the Warn M12 winch in the front.

@bigdave Im glad to hear someone else likes those tires. So your a Road Armor dealer. Does that mean you have a shop? You should check out this thread and let us know what you offer:

Well post up in the page. Never know who lives near you that may need stuff that you can sell. It can't hurt. Free advertisement.

Got a pic of your truck?\

So I just installed Builtright industries Dash Mount & Support underneath it. Also complimented it with 67 Design phone holder. The install was easy. Builtright has a great video to walk you through it. If you don't have an automobile trim tool kit you can pick one up at Lowes for $13.48. This was very helpful. Attached are some pics of the process. Something I learned the hard way was if you use the bracket support. Look where that lines up before you drill holes for the bracket. Also if you get a rail system like what 67D has. Mount that to the bracket before you mount it to the dash. That will make it a lot easier. Lastly, watch out for the FUCKING uplifter switches. I bashed my head on them multiple times. LOL.

Next, I installed Spot lamp override ( @BoostedGreyGooseDesigns ). This also was very easy to install. The directions that BGGD provides is excellent. I posted a pic of what the kneed area of the dash looks like when it's down, so you can see where the clips are. This was easy to remove. Just grab in the middle where the steering column is and pull, and then work your way around. Next up is you will need a 10mm socket to remove the 4 screws holding the plate on. I recommend using an electric drill or air for this. they are long and sucks to ratchet them. On your green connector, you have to cut a tab off. I used dikes and a pocket knife. Plugged it all back up and worked great.

If you have any questions let me know.

I will be adding mudflaps and window vets on Friday. So another post will be coming.

Happy New Year Ice Soldier. Are you back home for good then. Glad you’re back on the Forum my friend. ???????

That looks great man! Thanks for sharing, I'm going to order the same kit tonight. Have you thought about installing a 12v or a couple of USB ports up on top of the dash as well? That's the next project I'm looking into.

@modified that would be cool. Idk how to do that. I watched a video a guy did his back up camra and aftermarket gps connections.

The dealer called Friday and said the truck wouldn't be ready until Monday. They have never installed the gator back mudflaps and didn't realize how involved it was. So glad I had the price arranged ahead of time. So Monday I should have pics of them and the window vents.

Alright fam. Its. been awhile since iv been on here. Im going through some major life changes. In the near future I may no loi anger be in the Army. Im considering starting my own hotshot business. Put my 350 to the test. I got some questions though.

I dont have factory 5th wheel prep:
- Can I add goose hitch after the fact?
- Can I add factory in bed trail plug?
- Should I remove the bed?
- Should I put anything in the rear? Like bags of timbres?

Is anyone in this business that could provide some insight?

Im planning on getting the following:

Adding 2 boxes on trailer, and sliding ratchet system, and upgrading tires.

Considering this hitch, with the extension:

Also pan to add:

As well has custom mattress for back seat, and home made Curtin system.

What am I missing, and your guys thoughts? Is my tremor up for it?

Well my friend and brother. I want to thank you for your service defending our country. Job well done. Best of luck with your future endeavors.
I’m no help with your questions. I also am going to put my Tremor to the ultimate test. I am hoping to buy a 5th wheel luxury toy hauler. Utube videos say I need a dually BUT friends on here have said that my beast with the 6.7 will handle a 17k GVWR no problem. My worry is being over the hitch rate.
Well I’m not here to bogart your thread. Ice soldier you make sure to live your life to it’s fullest. Don’t fly faster than your guardian Angel can fly. You told me you have some friends on LI and you would look me up when you are down state. Look me up.
Be well my friend and keep in touch with all the old gangsters of the Forum. You are in my prayers brother man. ?????????✌️
Don ?

Most of the guys I see around here have dually’s for hotshot, but I think it largely depends on what you’re hauling and how heavy it is. The majority of the stuff I see in my area is mud motors for directional drilling. A lot of times they have 2-3 on the trailer at a time. Not sure if they use the drw because you couldn’t get away with a srw for that amount of weight or if it’s for other reasons. Also see a lot of guys hotshotting rv’s from the manufacturers to the dealers and between dealers with SRW’s and same with car haulers hauling used cars for dealers. There are definitely ways you could use yours for a hot shot business, it just might not be usable for every type of freight. I know that’s probably not super helpful, but I’d try and get an idea of what you want to haul before doubling down and spending the money on hitches and other items for the current truck.

On the hitches though the factory one is a little more difficult to install, but doable. The bed needs to be removed for the install. I was lucky and my salesman organized for a third party shop do mine for around $750, because it didn’t come with one. B&W also makes a really good gooseneck hitch that you can install in your driveway without removing the bed.

As far as bags and all that, I’m not sure the exact weight, but I’d bet once you start getting over 2k or so on hitch weight you’ll most like want them to level out the ride, same with a rear sway bar. I’ve got a fifth wheel and a 37ft flatbed and it made a huge difference getting bags and a Hellwig sway bar, would definitely recommend that. You can do it without, but it made a big enough difference that if I were doing that everyday it would be a no brainer.

Didn’t mean for it to get that long, but I hope that helps out a little. Thank you for your service and best of luck on the new business.

You can add a B&W gooseneck hitch, it’s a simple bolt on. It’s a nice setup, and yes you can add the wiring harness too, I’ve seen it for sale on etrailer.com, and it should just plus right into a wire harness that is already under the bed of the truck.
Good luck in your new endeavors !!

Well fam today was a safe day. I said good bye to my teuck. With the unknown of my future over the next few months I was looking to trade fir a 450/550 to start a business. However I couldn’t find one. But got offered 76k to buy my truck. MSRP originally was 78. I got it for 72. So after having it 10 months and pocketing just over 7k. I feel it’s the best situation with current unknowns. I plan to stay here. As once life figures it’s self out I’ll order a new one.

Congrats on the sale! Who would have thought you would be able to sell it for more than you paid nearly a year later. Let us know how the hunt for the 450/550 goes.
