How to wash your Super Duty Tremor, She got her 1st wash. "Man this is a Big ass truck"

+1 on using a foam canon, but half the success is the right soap. I use Chemical Guys soap and its like a Foam Blanket, then two bucket wash method.
Yea, I used the two buckets system and having a pressure washer is a must have.

What Chemical Guys Soap do you use sir?

She got her 1st wash. Boy, She is a Big Girl.
I just got the ceramic coating applied last week. I’m installing a DI water system in my garage for washing her the first time!!! I also have the Chemical Guys foam cannon and soap.

Another vote for the foam cannons!! I've been using one for the last 4 or 5 years. Works awesome on vehicles but where it really shines is for washing our SXS or the enclosed trailer!!!

Just a side note on the foam cannons, if you purchase one and it doesn't seem to "foam" up as good as you like. Check the internal orifice. Some foam cannons will come with a larger one and for more foaming action you should have a smaller one.

Not sure what type of soap that you were using, but it didn't really appear to have much lather at all. I might suggest some soaps like Adam's mega foam or Chemical Guys Snofoam. Personally, I like the lather of the Adam's product. It does a good job of covering the vehicle and lifting up all of the dirt.

I have had good luck with all the Chemical Guys stuff, soap, Matte Detailer etc, but on some of the Mustang Forums I am on, guys rave about Adams too. Both Chemical Guys and Adams run good sales as well.

Also, from my own OCD experience, the other tip to using a Foam cannon, you have to make sure you read the PSI rating the Foam cannon needs to function right. If the PW doesnt put out enough pressure, you will not get good Foam. Electric PW usually won't be enough, but check.

My truck was ceramic coated so I use a Detail Keg with American Detailer Wipeout followed by American Detailer Valor. I have a foam pump sprayer with American Detailer F Bomb in it for the wheels, under the fenders, etc. I just picked up Chemical Guys Hydro Speed to try in place of Valor. For the tires, I use SB3 Tuxx.

I didn’t use chemical guys soap. I used the one in this photo.
Yeah brother, get some Foam Canon soap, it will make a world of difference sticking to the vertical surfaces. You will be much happier using the foam canon.

I'm getting my ceramic coated immediately and then I'll be taking it to local hand wash only carwashes monthly or so.

My tremor will never see the inside of an automated car wash that's for sure. And I have doubts about my ambition to wash such a massive truck myself lol.
