Like most here, I have a truck to sell as I take delivery of my Tremor. Not planning to sell to my Ford dealer, as I am doing a fly and drive.
What is the best way, in this market, to come up with a price? There are dealers asking $25k or more for my truck. But I can also find dealers (Autotrader) with them at $15-18k (stock). Ford.com using their Blackbook valuation says $15-18k, but doesn't actually have the Tundra Crewmax (just doublecab, which is worth less),
So:
2013 Toyota Tundra Crewmax – 2wd Texas Edition
192,xxx
Second owner.
Well maintained – Full Synthetic oil every 7500 miles
Pyrite Mica with paint matched Leer camper shell (with LEDs)
HID retrofit headlights (Morimoto)
Bilstein 5100 leveling kit
Slotted/Vented rotors and pads
Magnum front bumper
It's a good truck. Runs amazing, blows cold.
Also, it's been a long time since I sold something that wasn't a beater. How much payback is there in doing an over the top wash, wax, detail? Interior is ugly with kid mess, but all cleanable.
Lastly, where are people having the best luck - Facebook? Autotrader, CL?
