How long from order to order being accepted

Hi everyone,
How long should it take from placing your order until the order is accepted by Ford and how long to get your VIN. I ordered on 11/9/20 and dealer says the order has still not been processed after 15 days. Is that normal or usual? They have no information as to when it will be accepted, Let me know if any of you have had similar experiences.

It's slow. Should have been picked up by now. Does your dealership have an allocation for a Super Duty? Couple days normal, someone said they pick them up on Thursdays but I can't confirm that.

I ordered 11/7. Still nothing. Just spoke to dealer, I got the same "Thursday is update day" thing PapaRaptor mentioned.

Well, they just texted me the VIN. Build week is 1/11/21.

Ordered 10/23. Truck was picked up by Ford on 11/17. I got the VIN on 11/24. Probably not the numbers you want to hear but they are similar to others I’ve seen in similar threads. I hope build date-built-shipped-delivered goes faster than the process has been so far.

Right? My guess is they had it last Thursday and failed to notify me. ?

Nah, mine started with a priority 19. Then it was a 10, then it was a VIN, then I could obsess over Alumizilla. Lol

I had that number. Wasn’t too bad - within same timeline as others.

I ordered 28 Oct with priority 10. On 20 Nov (just over three weeks later)I was notified of a VIN and build week of 4 Jan.
There have been some with priority 19 with quicker movement than mine.
I called and made a change 11 Nov. The dealer said it would not slow down the process because I didn't have a VIN yet at that time.

I ordered mine on 11/5 with a priority of 10. I got my VIN two weeks later and I have a build week of 1/4/21. They probably had my VIN the prior week, but I did not email them about it until the second week.
