How deep is the bed?

I have a new truck on order but it hasn't come in yet. Looking forward to delivery, I was watching a video about the 2021 Tremor. In the video the guy said that the bed sides are a couple inches shorter than previous years, making it easier to reach over into the bed. I have a 2013 F150 and wanted to move my tool box and transfer tank to my new truck when I get it. But the question is will it fit properly.

I can't find this specification online anywhere, so can someone measure the depth of their box and let me know. I need the dimension from the top of the ridges in the bed to the top of the side rail?

Thanks.

BTW, my F150 is 22.5"

Does this help...more dimensions I have not....?

I have a Bakflip Tonneau and the rail for it is in the way to get an exact measurement, but from top of the ridge to the top plastic bed rail cover looks to be more than 21” but less than 21.5”, so I would say that they are lower than yours now. BTW mine is a 2020. Hope this helps.

From what I found online, 21.1 inches. But I don't know where that is measuring to. And these are all for the short bed.

Thanks. That helps. At 21" I am screwed. On the old truck I have a BakFlip. The top of the BakFlip is level with the bed sides. The top of the transfer tank sat about 1.5" below the bed rails so there was enough room, for the BakFlip to cover the entire tank with a 4" hole in the BakFlip to accomodate the filler neck sticking out.

So, on the new truck I will have to think of something else for a bed cover.
