Unique problem with the Tremor. When heading to ride dirt bikes, I’ll often use my hitch hauler. It’s low and simple to use, especially with the mile long push to the bed of the truck. With the 2-1/2” on the Tremor, I’ve got to use an adapter to get down to 2” for the hitch hauler. The hauler itself has a isolator for 2” hitches which keep the hauler rock solid. I see they make 2-1/2” isolators as well. I’m thinking I could just stack isolators or weld the adapter onto the hitch hauler but I’d like to use it with out other vehicles with 2” hitches.

Rambling a bit but has anyone encountered this yet?

I am using the 3” on a 2” hitch step and also on a 2.5” hitch.

Redzilla, with all due respect, screw Amazon and buy direct from Bulletproof:

I welded the adapter into my last truck. Between the rattle and the pin hole getting oblong, I had to do something.
That actually crossed my mind the other day to do the same. I would think a medium sized tack weld each side would do it? Just so it could relatively easily be ground out in the future. I bought a 4” extension/reducer that will probably stay in the receiver indefinitely, I guess that might be determined by how many times I bash my knees walking in back!

Tacks won't hold. Been there done that. This held for a few years, then I bought a gooseneck. 28' enclosed trailer with a WD hitch setup. There's a lot of load on everything in that area. The weld washers prevented the hole from getting worn out.

Damn those are nice welds! I just bought a mig after years of using a stick welder my Dad gave me. They still look like crap!:)
Thanks for letting me know the tacks won’t work.

I like the idea of the weld washers….my previous truck had oblong pin hole.
