Hello my 2020 6.7 tremor doesn’t hit high idle to warm up. Does not have a supplemental cab heat or block heater. Back home for the holidays in 20 degree weather.
Doesn’t really warm up

Anyone else experience this?
Using the ice scraper wedged between the seat and the go go pedal to warm it up.

There were some comments in the thread "Up-fitter Switch Uses" refering to using a wire connected to an upfitter switch but wasn't specific on how to do it. It seems there is a single wire that needs to be powered or maybe grounded? that will switch the truck into high idle.

We need to find that, Mine runs cold on these winter like days. I have the rapid heat but the engine stays around 130

I believe high idle w/upfitter switches (in lieu of high idle ‘kit’) consists (in part) of a 20k ohm resistor and the respective wiring. I don’t have my truck yet, so I haven’t done this mod. Seems simple and straightforward.
Here’s a video that seems helpful to me. I like this guy. Fast forward to ~ 3:15 if you want to get to the meat & ‘taters of the video.
This mod appears to be extremely inexpensive compared to the $100 high idle kit, as a 6 pack of 20k ohm resistors @ Amazon costs about $6. The guy’s truck in the video is a 2018, but I don’t anticipate changes in this area—not sure.
If anyone has done this-type mod (instead of a kit) please post it, here.
I hope this video is helpful:

Interesting. Iv never had a diesel but used military vehicles. I love high idle on them. lol. My truck does have a rapid cab heater. So will see when I get back home soon on how it does. May need to look into this.

It does great honestly ... Cab is warm after 8 mins on remote start but I have it set to 15 mins
