On my 2011 Raptor there was a hidden USB port under the center speaker in the top of the dash.

Is/are there any hidden USB ports in the dash of this rig to be able to mount a VHF/UHF/CB radio up on the dash of the F350?

Thanx!

hidden is a strong word. there used to be that cover that you pushed the button and it opened up to be a compartment. now we just have that useless tray on the dash.
On the 2011 F150, you pulled your top cover on the dash above the radio, and there was a port on the back of the radio for an 2nd USB. I had mine ran into the glove box to run an external hard drive with all of my music.

When installing my Course Motorsports phone mount I had to take mine off and I did not see one. I wasn't looking for one though but I think I would have seen it if it was there.
Yes sometimes they’re tucked back in on the back of the radio as Tremor stated. You would k ow to look unless you knew it was there. On the Raptor you needed a mirror to physically see it back there.

Nothing up too, but I added one and it was pretty easy. I posted pics and links to the parts I used in my build thread if you want to check it out it (link in my signature).

I wouldn't advise running any form of radio off of USB. Unless it's something you custom wire up, a stock USB port is not going to provide you with enough amps to power most transceivers.

Agreed - Any radio needs to be direct to battery. too much draw. I had my TYT-9800 and direct to battery. I made sure I turned off/on manually when needed. Only option available for it IMO.

I have the exact same on my 2009 F150. Looking to see if my 2021 SD Tremor has one too!
