New to the forum, enjoy all info I can glean from y'all.
Late Sept I purchased my '20 Star White F350 Platinum short box equipped with the bad ass 6.7 STROKE ! I love this truck.
It now has 4300 miles getting fantastic fuel mileage 19.5 to 20.7 empty and 13 to 17 pulling 7000 - 11,000 pound tandem axle trailer.
I have noticed what I "think" is a slight driveline vibration. Initially it started at 70 MPH, then 60, now I feel it at 50 !
Tires are wearing very evenly, and the truck is smooth as glass no bounce, no steering wheel wobble (truck will travel straight as an arrow with no hands on wheel) ruling out missing wheel tape weight or cupping.
Anyone else experiencing this and / or have any guidance for me ?
Thanks guys.
Rich

Welcome and thats great mileage with your 6.7

No vibrations here 7K since April. I have been rotating the tires

Welcome to the forum! ?

Welcome, I wonder as I saw another thread with vibration around that speed range...curious. Tire issues?

Welcome to the forum @Rich - I only experienced that condition under 1000 miles. What tire pressure are you running?

I have experimented with pressures in rear from 80 in down to 65, leaving fronts at 60, no change in noted vibration. Also performed first service at 4475 miles, rotated tires, no change.
Thoughts ?
Thoughts ?

I would try to road force balance the tires to see if that helps at all.

Driveline vibration? Any abnormal noise? Tires would be easiest to check, one would hope it's not something like the transmission or engine. Perhaps a characteristic of the engine? Bad roads? Need more information...

No vibrations, 18k, Toyo M/T

I have about 5k miles on mine and it vibrates a little between 70-80. It gets smoother if I go 82+. It's been like this since I got it. I've tried different air pressures and no change. I will take it to the dealer soon and see what they say. Balancing the wheels will probably fix it.

I have experienced it, but it’s sporadic around that 65-75 range. It seems like it’s mostly on concrete highways. It hard to determine if it’s under load, but I’ve had my tires balanced twice and it helped a little. The stock tires have the mud tire drone. I’m going to have the dealer take a look again at first service interval.

As info to all...i have rotated tires at first service, rebalanced, load force checked out perfect. Drive line or transmission tail shaft vibration still exists. Will drive until it breaks
and provide another update.
Merry Christmas to all !
