I think they are saying you can control the heat, memory and audio from the steering wheel.

I wish you could co trol the heat from the steering wheel... The only way you turn on and off the heated steering wheel is on the sync 3 screen

on with forescan I have a icon on the touch screen agree with you the column is power wheel has the heat.

Wipers are a part of the 60W Option, the wheel and wipers is $165 option.

You have to add the 60w package or you wont get a heated steering wheel.

Yes, unfortunately you are not the only one to be misled by this misprint in Ford's online description of the ultimate package. There is at least one more thread regarding the 60w package and the misleading documentation online. Ford needs to fix this ASAP.

Go figure - but I ordered the 60W package that includes the heated steering wheel and I love it. From all I have read you need 60W to get the heated steering wheel and that lariat ultimate without 60W = no heated steering wheel. As much as I like the heated steering wheel, there is no way I would leave it to chance by assuming that a heated column = heated steering wheel.

The intricacies of the English language were lost on whoever put this on the website. It should read "power telescoping/tilt steering column with memory, heated steering wheel with audio controls." The column is not heated. Also, the heat doesn't even come with the ultimate package, anyway. It needs to be fixed. You must order the 60W package to get heat on the wheel.

The same wording "almost" cost me the heated steering wheel option. Thanks to this forum, I called before I got my VIN and my dealer added it to my order at no charge to me. He also thought it was included, but once he realized the forum was right, he admitted he was wrong and did not charge me the $165 for it.

If you already have your VIN, it is too late....
