Happy and frustrated at the same time.

Well my wait is over my Iconic Silver Tremor came in today. Problem is when I went into the office to do the paperwork I seen a Ford Key that was laying there was not the key I was anticipating.

Basically my tremor does not have push button start. During the texting and emails since all this covid crap hindered in person dealings. There was a misunderstanding on both ends. I advised I wanted push button and then we added the Lariat Value package. Now knowing that this doesn't include several things I thought I was getting.

I know I'm stupid for not making sure everything was to the T but I never really seen a package per say. I went from xlt to lariat and was changing my ideas to get what I wanted. I clearly remember saying I did not want the moon roof. Well this clearly took me out of the ultimate package.

Oh well lessons learned. I'm knew to Ford well see how it goes.

That sucks although the moon roof is separate from the ultimate package. Are you going to keep the truck or make them reorder and get what you want?

Congratulations! Don't despair, you can have the push button start added, along with anything else you want down the road. It all works out. Or you can pass and order a '22. Get what you really want that way.

Don't beat yourself up too much. I was on Ford's truck builder for months before I ordered mine and I still missed stuff. It can get tricky with all the packages. I had no clue you could get a heated steering will sans the Lariat Ultimate by ordering heated wipers. I have a heated garage, so I haven't really missed the heated steering wheel. Plus I feel more badass knowing I don't need a heated steering wheel to survive in this world. LOL.

The push button has its pro's and con's. I have the push button and honestly i could take it or leave it. Atleast you wont have the double door honk when you get out when the truck is warming up

They are ordering 2022’s now, but building 2021’s through June. That means the wait would be the end of the summer for a new order......that wait wont be worth the push button. Take delivery now and dont look back!

I decided to take it and live with it. I have wheels and tires going on Friday and tint next week. New fluid film under coating also first week of April. It's new and not like rubber under coating so ill see how it does. You can get black or clear.

I'm a certified System X Ceramic installer so it's getting their brand new formula for trucks next week as well.

I relooked at Fords packages last night and could of did the Ultimate package for very little more. I just don't see why it wasn't pointed out. Just wish Ford would not make it so different when ordering their vehicles. Oh well I'm done love the new ride so far.

I'll post pics Friday of new wheels and tires.
