Hey guys!
when traveling with your pistols, what is the best way to keep them close and easy to get to when needed. Also, where is the best place to store them when traveling? i tried wearing a holster, but i kept getting jabbed in my side. Any suggestions is helpful. Looking for Thor's and my safety when traveling by myself. Thanks guys in advance! :)

My preference for traveling is a kydex type of holster velcro'd to the side of the console. I used industrial adhesive backed velcro. When I exit the vehicle I transfer the firearm from the console holster to the holster on my body.

If it’s off my waste it’s usually on the passenger seat. I use a clip holster not a belt through holster so it’s just easy to take off and put back on. If I’m just running around town it’s usually stays on my hip

Right here at all times in case someone gets stupid. 😉

@Optimus Not trying to start shit...but you can't be in control of what others do around you or if you have an equipment failure. Sounds nice and all but won't take much to make that thing going flying... #ounceofprevention

I keep mine in the center console...

i know it's controversial. But this is where I have mine. It looks like it's pointed at the gas pedal but it is actually pointed off to the right. The magnet is extremely strong and you would probably have to roll the truck to dislodge it. I will say though that the weight of it made the trim piece squeak going down the road a bit but it has stopped now, probably because it's worn the squeaky bit down😉

Got a link to that panel?

I use the same mount. Works great.

Those are what I’ve been looking for. Thanks!

This is the Mystery Ranch Full Moon. It’s great for my edc needs. Spare knife, mags, light med, kids snacks…if needed and a crye 6x9 level 3a armor panel (not included). While driving long distances, it’s tucked under my seat. Short distances I’ll wear it fanny pack style. If I’m in a spicy area, cross chest for a little ballistic protection.

This is your weekly reminder that vehicles are not holsters, and weapons should be on your person, or securely locked so as not to fall into the wrong hands. These trucks are not that hard to break into, and we have a responsibility to plan for the worst.

Additionally, unsecured or poorly secured weapons will become a projectile (and could discharge additional projectiles) in the event of an accident.
