Common story... We have been looking for an F250 to pull our '18 Outback TT as we wanted more towing margin that our F150 provided. Searching for a new F250 in this market was interesting to say the least! We are in N. Texas and our local dealers (which are very good btw) just don't get any inventory so a search on Cars.com took us to DFW. While that was an adventure, it gave us the opportunity to drive a few F250's and my best half fell in love with the Tremor. Actually, I think she thought it would satisfy the need for a larger truck (to pull her trailer, lol) and keep me from wanting a Jeep (we will see...). Anyway, back to Cars.com I found a Tremor on order at Mac Haik in Desoto, TX which was very close to what we were looking for so I called, discussed purchasing terms (no additional addendum fee, willing to take xplan, etc.) and promptly put down a deposit. The truck came a few weeks early and we picked it up yesterday. Great transaction, no surprises, and I think we got a fair deal in this very strange market.

I've been reading the forum for 6-8 weeks now and am impressed with the attitude, graciousness, and amount of information here and it did play a big part in my research and ultimate decision to purchase a Tremor. I'm a newbie on this Super Duty stuff but know a good bit about camping, grilling, etc. so hope to be able to provide some helpful contributions.

Beautiful truck. Congratulations!

Welcome to the Tremor Family! Funny how you described your wife's satisfaction with the Tremor. I didn't think my wife would like it much as she's use to the comfort of her Subaru Outback and the occasional ride in my f150. The day we picked it up at the dealer she was giddy with excitement and was just gushing about everything when we took it for the test drive. The King Ranch is pretty plush compared to our other vehicles, but I still didn't think she would like the ride of the F350. When I finally asked her what she thought after having experienced a few rough spots in the roads we were driving, she just said it rides like a real truck should. Said if it rode soft it wouldn't feel like it was up to the task.

We've had it 12 weeks already and she still loves to just go for a drive in the truck. She loves the massaging seats and the high stance and the general comfort and quietness. That's my girl. ;)

BTW we're from central Indiana but our son and his wife just bought a house in Lewisville and moved in yesterday. They've been in the Greater Dallas area for about five years now.
Congratulations on your new purchase and look forward to sharing your experiences. ? ?

My wife loves to drive it too, even though it looks big, she says it drives easy. All three kids like it also, since I had a 00' SD CC long bed when they were in car seats so they like being up high.

Sweet Beautiful Beast. Congrats and welcome to the family. ??????????

Yes, we do like brisket, especially the better half. I have been on a quest to figure out how to make a fantastic brisket and have learned quite a lot. I've made some good, definitely some not-so-good, and two that I am really proud of. It is quite an effort though, I call it therapy!

Congrats! ?

Welcome to the forum @JB Brisket and thank you for your service!

So what do you think of the Tremor after a few weeks of ownership?
Really like it. The more we drive it the more little features it has that we like. We took it on a quick road trip to Austin and found that both of our phones (iPhones 10xr) with cases will fit and charge in the wireless charger. Short of the power steering pump leak that the local dealer fixed (no issues at all w/warranty) it has been good so far. Looking forward to hitching up the trailer and taking a trip now!
