In a previous thread I was politely encouraged to keep my non-Tremor trash off the tremor forums, so here we go. I'm super excited that I got my WS for my F250 CCLB XLT 7.3 today. I placed my order 10/13, on 10/16 my dealer got the VIN and said build date was week of 11/15, according to WS it was built 11/10. I'm not sure if it was the XLT trim, the 176" WB or something else that helped me get through the line so fast, but I'll take it. Under a month to build is pretty darn good right now.

Wow, congrats!

Kinda surprised by your statement, usually everyone is welcome, I always leave that sort of decision up to the MOD's. When you get into the F150's or Ranger Tremors we might not share as much, but SD's share quite a bit of DNA. But hey, maybe xmas will come early for you, GL!

Haha, thanks. My comment was mostly in jest :p

good to hear some trucks are getting thru the system

Let's see the sticker. Not use to seeing non-Tremor ones. Might be fun.
Tremor guys won't be jealous of anything other than the number in the lower right. Some 7.3 guys probably wouldn't mind the 48 gallon tank I suppose. I struggled a bit deciding between an optioned-up XLT and a more base level lariat. The lariat would've given me the leather, dual zone digital A/C, 12 inch display, and a few more things I don't care about for around $5K more. Ultimately value and function won out over luxury and form.

I went with the 4.30 rear end to bolster the 7.3 for towing our camper. Otherwise most of my driving is city (under 50mph), so gas mileage won't be impacted too terribly much. It will also set me up for Tremor style appearance mods down the road (which I will probably be too cheap to actually do)

A lot of stuff in the premium package is pretty basic IMHO, but one thing I didn't want to go without is the door keypad. Could've done without the chrome.

UTT package was for the cameras, I could've done without the knob on the dash for steering the trailer (the big wheel does just fine). I wish they were offered separately like in the past. I really like the idea of having a camera on the back of my camper without a separate display.

Clearance lights just because I think they look cool and are only $95 - I'm not that cheap :ROFLMAO:.

Upfitter switches because maybe someday I'll need them.

Tailgate step for the kids now and my old age in the future.

It's going to be a pretty massive upgrade over my Tundra for a pretty modest price.

forgot to mention, I wish I could've gotten the old six speed transmission 6R140 with the 7.3, the 10 speed is really my only hesitation/worry at this point. Hoping they have resolved some of the reliability issues, we'll see.

Not scientific by any stretch, but seems many of the issues have been with 20/21 year models. My 21 and 22 have been smooth and seamless, but also have the 6.7, which I learned on this forum has a different 10 speed version.

Thanks. I just like looking at window stickers. I saw something on yours that I've never seen before. What is a Texas/ Oklahoma edition front license plate bracket. Never seen that before. Does it have stars around it or something?

Congrats and welcome to the forum. PS, yes I'm jealous of the 48 gal tank. Hopefully someone comes out with a larger one. 🤞 (I know someone is 'working on one)

Yeah, I wasn't willing to wait, nor did I want to shell out $2k (plus installation?) for a tank that I could get for $200. Driving a land yacht will be annoying at times, I'm sure, but it'll reduce my gas station stops by a third.

Got it Friday. Under 2 months from start to finish, so that couldn't have been much better. No major regrets so far. I was most unsure about the color, but so far I like the antimatter blue - its subtle. I'm a little underwhelmed by the 360 cameras, but I like the front camera and will probably like having the trailer camera on the main display. Can't wait to see how it pulls the camper.
