Placed the order on Nov 23. Originally scheduled to build on Jan 21, but it got changed to the week of Feb 8. Today (Feb 6) is the first day I've seen any updates on the build, or seen the window sticker.

Just curious, but how long does it take to actually build one? I mean how much time on the assembly line? They seem to roll off at about one every minute or so, but does it take 8 hours to go through, 12 hours? two days? I just don't know. Does the body get painted during assembly, or a day before, etc. Has anyone been to the factory and seen the process? Is there a stack of frames waiting, pallets of engines lined up, are the body panels stamped as needed, that morning, at the beginning of the line?

I can not speak to the KTP (Super Duty Production), but my wife works at KCAP (F-150 and Transit). From the body shop (start of assembly) thru Final is about three days and add two days if upgrades are done at the factory or up builders.

Congrats. I got my sticker on Friday also.

I went to the dealer today and asked about the winch and console vault options. Those are both installed at the factory if part of the original order.

It looks like my truck was started on the Feb 8th and will be completed on the Feb 11th.
