What do you all think about the options for gooseneck hitches. I want to add one but I hear that the B&W turnover ball
design causes problems when its time to do shock replacements. I am looking at maybe installing the Curt version
any others I need to look at before I do? Also, anyone know the part number for the 7/12 pin receptacle that mounts
inside the bed?

Here you go

Part No: LC3Z-15A416-B

I almost didn't get the 5th wheel/Goose prep pack when I ordered. I was like ohhhhhh I can do that later when the time comes. Then I looked at what a pain in the ass it is to install after the fact (especially with a bed liner). People were paying upwards of 2 grand for the install because they needed to take the bed off. So I went ahead and paid the 500 bucks now to save me the headache later.

Well I pulled the trigger on the Curt gooseneck hitch and got it all installed. It definitely is a chore and took me longer
than I had expected. The directions are terrible so I ended up making a couple mistakes that cost me time due to that.
All in all it was a doable driveway project with a couple larger tools. The Curt looked plenty well built, nicely painted and
designed well so that it required very little disassembly of the truck for install.

If anyone goes to do this let me know and I will try and give a few pointers.
