I ordered the '22 Tremor with the factory gooseneck ball, but I just saw this: https://www.weigh-safe.com/product/safe-load-oem-gooseneck-ball/

Wondered if I should have the dealer remove it from my order and get the ball with the built in scale? Or is the scale not necessary?

Thank you for helping :)

I’ve used the factory setup for years. 0 problems. How heavy is you pin weight you plan on pulling? If I was to change anything I would get a B&W for the added height

I'm getting the factory prep package, but thought this ball with strain gauge would be 'neat' compared to the OEM ball $250 option I have on my build sheet.

I know people that have the bumper pull strain gauge versions and rave about them.

I just think it's invaluable information. I suppose if you always haul the same trailer set up the same way maybe not so useful. But for instance if you pull a gooseneck flat bed or box trailer and load it with different cargo regularly, it would certainly be worth having.

Perfect! Thank you for helping :) I think it makes alot of sense too. I guess if I ever sell the truck I'll just include the factory ball and keep the Weigh safe strain gauge ball for myself :p

Just looking at the picture, this is probably quite a bit taller than the B&W. I think I'll be getting this instead! Thanks for the link @BroncoHooves!

I have their regular adjustable and their weight distribution hitch (WDH). I just got the wdh so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but I got it because of how easy it is to adjust and dial in. I like having the scale so I know if I need to rearrange the weight in the trailer.
