A gorgeous 50 degree full on sunny day here in Western North Carolina...decided to give my take off stock wheels and tires a good cleaning before storing. They were not really that bad, actually they look great. I just decided to store them clean. For now I think I will just hang on to them as I heard that Ford wants $1000 ea for a stock rim. ? Whats wrong with an extra set of meats! ??

Ford may want a mint for them, but aren't they just the old chrome PVD wheel painted black?

It seems like one could cheaply reproduce a set. $450 for four on eBay.

Is that the spare? I swore I saw a Utube video that said the Tremor spare is the same rim.
Enjoy the weather. Cold but sunny on Long Island NY ???????

spare in a steel rim

Hey Don,
Yeah the spare tire is matching but the wheel is a steelie. Went with all five aftermarket so I would not have to carry a different set of lugs for the steelis.
Plus I just wanted the matching spare, steelies are funky looking. ?
Hope your feeling better ....any day now that ride will be here!! ??????????

Good to know. Thanks buddy. ??????

Any Day Brother. Life Is What We Make Of It And Who We Share It With. ? GOD BLESS DAVE. ???

I need to clean mine. I hardly washed them ever. That is going to suck in the springtime. Baked on brake dust and crud.

I don't think I will sell mine either. not at 1k per wheel. made that mistake with my Jeep Wrangler wheels and tires except with that lift kit the stock wheels would no longer fit. The new 4 link on the Jeep requires more offset. But I got pennies on the dollar for them.

Will be adding to my list..thanks!
the truck brakes alot better, much smoother and stops quicker and i weight at 8700 lbs with a full tank of diesel and the 300 lb front bumper and it nice to know i will stop when i hit the brakes.... make sure you follow the break in instruction on the box

I will probably suffer thru a set of pads for a few months but they are easy enough to swap out at home. Just need a couple hours. Looks like a good set of pads to try out.
