What cabinets do you guys have in your garage to keep everything organized behind closed doors? This is not for tools as I have a separate workshop for my trucks/tools/equipment. This will mostly be household items, holiday decorations, bulk beer/water storage, etc.

Gladiator seems to be a very popular brand. What do you guys recommend? My garage is finished with an epoxy floor so I want something that will look nice but not too industrial.

I have several Gladiator pieces and my garage floor is epoxied too. The cabinets aren’t overly expensive and serve my purpose well, and like you, they don’t/won’t really house my tools - I have other storage for those. That said, I have gotten a Gladiator cabinet home only to realize it was damaged In the box, so keep an eye out for that (not that you wouldn’t). I’m also interested to hear what others say on this topic!

Sam's Club has a line of SS cabinets in stock with hammer finish boxes that I really like. I've had one that I used as a pantry in my old bachelor pad and was converted to chemical storage 5 moves ago and has held up great.

i have about a dozen of the Gladiator cabinets from when Sears had carried them. Wish they still sold the same version and not the assembly required version that are carried at lowes.

I went with DeWalt.

Update - I went with the gladiator cabinets but I went with the special order white and gray. Very happy with them so far.

Now that it’s approaching winter I am wondering if any of you use parking mats? My shop is heated and the floor is sloped towards the door but there are no drains. I like the idea of a solid rubber mat, or even fabric, to park the truck on for snow and ice to melt on. Also would like some rubber mats under the tires when detailing so I’m not spraying chemicals all over the polished concrete. Any recommendations?

Thanks. My garage floor is epoxied. I am not going to do that in my shop building since it’s too large. So I am looking for alternatives that can be parked on top of and also taken outside to clean off occasionally.

I have a wall full of those. Fantastic quality for a very reasonable price. Best option i could find and very happy with them.
