This is not a TREMOR issue but I wanted to check with you guys. Anyone find the fuel cap tether frustrating? I have to finagle it
just right to get the fuel door to close each time, about ready to cut it loose.

Mine seems to swivel freely around the fuel cap, so as the door closes, it rotates out of the way. Maybe your's is stuck or jammed somehow?

Crud, that is what I was afraid of. Mine seems to always be in the way and the fuel door will not close unless I manually rotate the retaining ring around.

I've had to manually adjust its position each time.

Ugh! glad I am not the only one... its a small detail but surprisingly frustrating.

Have not had an issue....had mine since Jan 15

No issue here, take it to the dealer get them to fix it or if you are handy look to see if it is a simple fix that you can take care of yourself. To me, sounds like something is slightly out of tolerance or maybe just needs a little lubricant.

I've found it annoying but I just play with it until I get it right.

Never had an issue. Wonder what's causing it.

Mine is flimsy. It works but feels super cheap.... I miss the capless system that was on my Raptor....

I am having t bon e same issues sticking and it's a pain in the rear.

Is it just an issue with gas trucks, because my old 6.7 had no issues, but my 7.3 is a pain, the fuel door worn shut properly.

Never had much issue with mine until the fourth fill. Went to open the fuel door and the tether jammed somehow and the top of the cap came right off. I am going to take this issue up with the dealership when I go for my first oil change. Too bad something so small is such a big inconveinience.

So happy to hear it’s not just me. The cap on my 17 was so much better than the 21. I’m to the point where I feel like ordering the 17 cap. Never once had the tether hang on that design. This new one is always in the way.
