Hi all. I have made a few changes with success. I finally have all the parts for adding a heated steering wheel with the paddle shifters. I did not see on the spreadsheet how to enable that. Is there another process for that? Is the heated steering wheel only software enabled? Even for the ones that come from factory? Or is there a hardware switch or button also?

@ZooDad what part ETN you live in? I am near Knoxville…a little northwest.

Are you just upgrading from an existing factory heated wheel or trying to add that function at the same time as the paddle shifters?

Regardless, there is no hard switch, it's only software controlled.

DTE is still a work in progress. Do far after the initial value change of made, the DTE has to “learn”. I have several people testing this theory

You can do it right from the dash/settings. Forscan is not needed for this anymore.

The newer trucks can be very particular.
I would strongly recommend the OBDLink EX adapter referenced.
