DESCRIPTION:​

The SPE battery hold downs are made from 6061 T6 Aluminum. They start as a two 10"x3"x3" blocks that are CNC machined down to a simple streamlined design. They are then hard anodized black for a long lasting non-chipping finish, unlike powder coat. The anodizing also helps with eliminating the white corrosion build up that forms below the factory steel holder. Anodized finishes are not electrically conductive.

SPE made sure to make the installation as easy as possible when removing/replacing battery's. The factory mounting stud is retained and SPE provides guide holes/bores in the billet holder that helps guide your nut and socket on to the stud. A simple solution, which helps the customer not drop they're nut or socket.

Was there any install issues? I had these, but seems to me I recall some wiring that was connected to the factory tie downs that wasn’t easy to move over?

I just took my batteries out. There’s a wiring harness but it’s very easy to work around it

But it doesn’t attach to the OEM tie downs? I thought this would create more issues than fix but maybe I didn’t look at it correctly.
