I should get this? It does make sense for us concealed carry license holders. What do my fellow 2A holders think? I'm on the fence.

Living in CA I don't have a concealed carry license but I did back east. This would provide a lot of peace of mind.

A really determined thief could defeat this, but it wouldn't be easy. I'd probably never leave a gun in the truck overnight anyway, but if you were using valet and wanted to leave a gun in the truck while going to dinner or something I'd be totally comfortable with that.

I like to go to the beach a lot in the summer and always leave my JLC or Rolex at home bc I don't want to actually wear it on the beach and I'd be worried to leave in the glove box. With this, I'd have total peace of mind.

I've had Console Vaults in my last two trucks and love them. A great place to safely store cash, passports, guns, etc.

But this one is very big and looks like it makes the console space useless for anything else. There was another one somebody recently posted that was only half the width and left a lot of space for general stuff alongside the vault. Can't remember the name of that one. That's the one I'll be putting in the Tremor, even though I ordered it with the Console Vault.

I never take mine off when I am out of the house under normal circumstances. If a business does not allow me to carry, I find somewhere else to spend my money, which rarely ever happens in Texas. For the few times I go into a government building or school, this would be a good option.

Think it takes up valuable storage space. I have no reason to want to lock my gun in the console unless I am leaving it to go into a place that doesn't allow them. In that case, there are other lockable options already available and I can keep my closet between the seats.
