Has anyone tried ford pass 5 yet? I selected it on the app and it said “try it before it’s released”. I immediately exited and reverted back to the former version. I don’t want to be part of the experiment

I keep getting forced into the "beta". I don't like it and revert back to the last version every time...

I’m happy that we can actually return back. I didn’t care for the appearance of the new layout, nor do I want to experience glitches in the app

My biggest issue is that it is no longer a one click action to locate a vehicle on a map. I have our whole families vehicles loaded and use this feature on a regular basis.

What is kind of funny is that it says I don't have any vehicles that are supported for the beta app. We have a 2023 Bronco Sport and a 2024 F250 Tremor. I'm curious as to which years are supported now.

How does one get Ford Pass v5 on iOS? Nothing available here for me for updates.

I have it for my 22 F 450 and 24 F350 tremor. I haven't had any issues with it and use it most mornings for remote start.

Well I like slide to turn on over press and hold. That’s all I use the app for anyways so I guess it’s a win.

Here's how the beta looks on my phone

I now have to scroll up to access the other options at the bottom (Location, Scheduled Remote Start, Settings).

For a visual location I have to:
1) scroll screen up
2) click on location to get an address
3) click on directions
4) click on map

The previous version was:
1) swipe screen to the left
2) click on already displayed address

I did realize a benefit here... This allows me to set the mapping application I want to use vs. the built-in map within FordPass. If I want to use Google Maps I can set that the first time and then always use it by default. So that's an improvement...

I think it is locked out for 21's. I tried on my phone as well and it said I did not have a vehicle that is eligible. Mine is a 2021. My wife is on the account and has a 24 Edge. I would think hers would be eligible.

I’ve decided to give it a try, just to flex on all the folks who are not “chosen ones” .
