Welp, article was removed. Sorry. He basically said Super Duty owners in rural areas and those that haul frequently won't be ready to switch to all electric vehicles.

Thanks for the share - I feel Jim was actually talking about me. Maybe all my posting on here have opened some eyes. Or maybe I am a microscopic factor in a expansive global market.

...but I agree.

Interesting. In 2019 he said he was all-in on electric to stay competitive to Tesla and Rivian while simultaneously hedging against gas prices.

I've always thought we'd be a long way away from a completely electric super duty. I think there is a chance within the next 3 years (maybe sooner, maybe later) that we see a Power Boost Super Duty. Full electric seems like it's going to cause a lot of issues with payloads.

haha — Fox “News” deleted this article. Did they get caught doing their selective quoting thing again?

Some Ford news we missed found while looking for this article.

3-year backlog on the F-150 Lightning? 😵‍💫

Hybrid Maverick sold out too? 😲

That's great news. I'd bet 90% of those 30,000 employees have no desire to return to those offices. Let them keep working. As soon as they force them back to the office most are going to quit.
I bet 98% of them don’t want to work, then you get shotty production. I’m glad my truck was built when it was 4/20

I also read that they are shutting down again affecting 30,000 people.

To be clear, the article you linked makes no mention of shutting down. Just that office workers will continue to work from home. It has no impact on assembly line workers.

You mean cnn, the liars and perverts network that nobody with a brain watches

The electrical infrastructure is not able to handle the load and it won’t be for decades, he’ll look at Kalif and how they are struggling & can’t even keep the power on in the summer & then last winter Texas freezing up due to going to wind power 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The assembly lines next.
