What type of gas mileage are you getting when towing with the new 7.3 "Godzilla" motor? I'm sure this would be very helpful for those trying to decide between the 2 power choices in the Tremor.

I am patiently waiting for any feedback from 7.3 owners on fuel mileage figures also.

This is a 7.3 towing a seed tender that weighs just over 7000 pounds getting 5.1mpg.

It's a screenshot from this youtube video:

After a half tank of gas driving to and from work mostly in town, I am averaging 11.5 mpg. Keeping my foot out of it, but running about 10 mins daily on warmup. Will get some highway time on it this weekend and report that.

5 star on the ford truck forum posted a bunch of mpg numbers from different truck towing different weights.

About 11 MPG towing 5k

First "real" tow, about 250 miles towing our brick shaped travel trailer about 8700 pounds. 10.6 mpg mostly hwy 55-70 mph, climbed from 1500ft to 6000ft and back down. Same trip with in a 2018 f250 powerstroke was just over 12 mpg. Truck did exactly what I was hoping it would

That's really promising! I'm about ready to take mine out just to see what it does!

Once up to speed and cruising it hardly ever downshifts, just loafs along at 12 ish, climbing I don’t think we saw over 3600 rpms, so much better than past trucks. Very happy so far, was going diesel before I started reading about this engine. Happy I went the way I did.

Diesel or gas at 10.6mpg?

The diesel got 1.4mpg better on the same trip. Also, Isn't the 2018 diesel a 6 speed? So, the 2020 diesel 10 speed may get even better gas mileage?
Yes diesel was a 6 speed, from the reports I have read to 2020’s with the 10 speed seem to be getting pretty good mileage. I am happy with double digits towing with a gasser and no worry’s about diesel emissions or fuel system repairs. Plus I have never towed with a gas truck that does it as effortlessly as this one. I think we are gonna be very happy with this rig.

This was my 1st tow looks promising, but debated as where ford gets the 13mph info from.

We have just over 3,500 miles on our truck towing the camper and the truck is currently displaying 8.8 mpg on the screen. I have found that idling makes a huge impact. After a battery incident we left the truck idle for a while which took us under 9 mpg and we haven't gotten back.

I try not to exceed 68 mph as that seems to be a sweet spot for our rig.

We tow a 30 foot Grand Design Transcend 247bh. It weighs in at 7,000 fully loaded per the sticker.

I hope to get some actual test completed along with a trip over the cat scale very soon.

I have been getting 10 mpg with my 7.3 Gas ProCharged. Towing a enclosed trailer mainly around town. It is the Tremor with 4:30 gears.

Over 100 WOT pulls only fowled 2 plugs. I did get some bad gas as well. I try to only get gas from the same station but doesn’t always happen. I really like the ProCharger it was a good choice. Thank you for watching!!
