Hey all Sccritterkiller here...just ordered a F250 7.3 Lariat Tremor last week...and the wait begins. Been using work issued SDs and F150s for years..Currently have a expy EL for the last 10yrs as I needed the covered area for baby stuff...Kids are older now and went with a SD.

I spend as much time as my wife and job will let me hunting and fishing, hence my handle.

I also have a restored 90YJ and I am the middle of frame off on a 75 Bronco...another reason for SD..my expy will pull them but t doesn't like it. Plus the clock on the expy just hit 225k, got my money worth. My wife drives a Q5 but we don't talk about...she likes it...

Ordered 7.3 Lariat, black out, Lariat ultimate, power running boards, moonroof, winch, and garage door opener...BTW How does the Lariat ultimate package not include garage doors openers...doesnt seem very ultimate...

True. It will change your life when you get her. It was so much more than I thought it would be. I went with the Silver 6.7 Platinum with every option. I’m so glad with what I picked out. Again blew me away at how classy of a ride it is.
I learned so much in the months waiting for mine to arrive. The men on here are outstanding and helpful. It truly was amazing to see so many people wanting to help out anyone that has a question. Life is what we make of it and who we share it with. Sharing it with these awesome people was something else. ?????????

My Expy is a limited EL with every option available in 2010 so I know Ford is capable of class...My biggest problem with Ford is service..There is not a lot of difference in price in my wife's Audi Q5 and the F250 I just ordered..rough math we are 5k more into the F250 and her car is 5yrs old...I have no problems paying the for either because the value is there. When I take the Audi for service it's one of the best possible experiences you could have...had that car for 5 yrs and I haven't spent more than an hour total in those 5 yrs in that dealership for service and that includes the loaner process.
Ford service department is 180 degree experience..treat me like I just bought a Taurus. Fords service dept needs to catch up with their prices...the Ford service guy always asks me to give him 5 stars on the customer sats...why don't you earn 5 stars and you won't have to ask....

Free service and oil changes for 5 yrs 100k miles on the Jag. This Ford dealership I just used to purchase my 100k$ Tremor didn’t give me the experience that my Jaguar dealer gave me. With my Jag being the same price.
Ford is lacking. But I love to ride my Tremor just as much as I love to ride my Sick Jaguar. So I know what you are saying.
I ordered a Trailer camera with TPMS and it didn’t show up with my truck. They ordered one and today I went to pick it up and the piece of garbage parts manager lied to me and tried to give me an opened box of a customer who didn’t pick it up in 2018. It had his vin on it and the shipping slip said 1/4/2018. Plus the harness was just thrown in the box and the camera box was opened and ruffled up. Then he kept saying it’s mine. I blew a gasket. I ripped my mask off my face to show him I’m a man not to be F’d with. Then he left it on a desk snd said it’s mine. I lost it and went to the sales manager snd my salesman and they said they’d contact the Ford rep. Are you kidding me. It left such a bad taste in my mouth all day. He was a thief trying to push off some old crappy product so he can keep the right one comes in. While lying to my face.
Horrible Horrible Horrible Experience. I will be writing a review about the parts department. 100k$ truck purchase should not be this difficult. Sorry to vent. Damn I’m still fuming.

Agreed. I changed my build TWICE based on what I learned on this forum! Drove my sales rep crazy, but it's going to work out much better for me.

How's the song go...you can't always get what you want? Lol...at the end of the day it wasn't a big factor into my decision..I getting what I need...can't put a camper on my wife's car...just an interesting observation from muti manufacture owner with vehicles in a similar price range.

At the end of the day I need something I can run on the beaches of Obx to fish and take to WY to hunt...what else I am gonna get? Ford has done a fine job for me the last 10 yrs.
