I noticed today that my right DRL was flickering when the headlights were on. I have used forscan to allow the DRLs to stay on with the headlights. I haven't noticed this problem before today. I turned the headlights off and just kept the DRLs on and it seems to have fixed the problem. I'm wondering if there's some issue with changing that setting in forscan. Anyone else seen this happen?

Have you changed any headlight settings in forscan?
Yes, the ones I changed that are related to the headlights are:
1. Turn signal count
2. Bambi mode
3. DRL full brightness w/ headlights

I was going to start by going back to default values on #3 but haven't made any effort to yet. I feel there is no rhyme or reason when it chooses to flicker as it only does it occasionally.

If anyone has the default settings for this that would be great. If not I can just restore all of BdyCM-BCM.

Any updates? Did you find/resolve the problem?

I haven't made any changes to mine yet. I was away from home for work when I discovered the issue and it hasn't come back up yet. If it happens again, I'll change some forscan settings back to stock.

Just curious if this problem has still been going on with you guys or anyone else? Mine is a 2022 and I noticed it flickering about a month ago. I put it back to the factory setting and it quit flickering. After 2 days I put brightness back at 100% and it’s not flickered anymore. I’m not saying it fixed it but we will see what happens. It’ll probably start today since I’ve posted this out here 😂

If anyone has come across a fix, I’m definitely interested.

I have aftermarket LED's from F150LED. I had them less than a year and both bottom lights on both sides were flickering. I reached out to F150LED and they sent me a whole new set free of charge and it went away. I now have the bottom drivers side flickering again after about 6 months and they sent me just the one replacement bulb and can bus. I have not installed it yet as taking the grill off each time is a PIA. At first I was wondering if the the lights were just poor quality, but seeing this I'm wondering if something else maybe going on power wise.

Mine started doing it when I forced Max DRL brightness. Doesn't do it all the time and seems to be sporadic. It's def overheating the less/driver. I turned it back down a few and haven't had issues.

What percentage did you go with? I too have found mine flickering recently.

Found this post on the Raptor forum and set my DRL duty cycle to 75% in the '726-38-01' data block. If you previously did the full brightness Forscan change in the '726-42-01' data block, you'll need to revert that back to the stock value.

I’ll try that today….. Thank you!

How did yours turn out in testing? Flickering resolved?
What’s crazy is as you were posting this I was in the middle of changing it 🤣🤣. I’ll see how it does after setting at 75%. 👍👍
