Got my truck. Loving it, but it drives me crazy that the front bumper is 1.5cm lower on the driver side than passenger side.

How do I remove these plastic covers over the tow hooks shown below?
The bolts to attach the dumper to the frame are behind it and I need to loosen them to adjust the front bumper level.

I feel like they are just clips somewhere, but I cant figure it out for the life of me.
Anyone got an idea? or know of a video that shows it or anything?

Yeah, everything I found starts with the bumper off. Probably because its so simple lol

I eventually found it.
In case anyone searches and finds this, Here is how its done.

There are 3 pieces of plastic. (pic below). #1 stays, #2 you remove by inserting a screwdriver at the red areas and pulling out the tabs from piece #1. After you remove those two tabs just yank and the other clips and just force clips that will come out. Do the same process for piece #3.
At this point you'll see 8 bolts (green) that attach the bumper along with 2 bolts on each side for the side support inside the wheel well.

My driver side was low so I loosened all 8 bolts in front, and the 2 on the driver side support. Then jacked up that side to level. Then tightened all bolts and lowered jack and replaced plastic. Done.

Why not have the dealer fix it?
I just don't want to drive all that way and wait for something that probably will take 15 minutes. Annoying that they didn't check this at the factory though... My spare tire was also dangling loose. QA guy must have been out with covid that day.

Yikes! Given some of the things I’ve seen on mine, I assumed the UAW negotiated away QC staff. Having QC would make them start paying attention the first time around, but that’s too demanding a work environment, and that won’t fly.
