I always wax a vehicle ASAP. Not for protection necessarily, but more because there is no better way to examine a vehicle then to get up close and personal with every square inch of it.
I remember my 17 had lots of fish eyes and my 21 is no different. Things that you really notice when you wax it. Hence another reason I get white vehicles. I also notice a huge range of the variances of body gaps. My rear passenger door almost hits the cab corner and my driver side has a good 1/8 gap.
i don’t know if I should bother making them adjust it. I’m afraid it’ll open a Pandora’s box.

At 80k, I would take mine in.

I fixed it myself. The cab corner is a plastic cover. I was able to adjust it myself and get it much better.
saves a trip to the dealer and the worry of them chip the paint on my hinge bolts etc

It is frustrating for that kind of money.

Nice job and I agree with you if you can fix it yourself

I’ll wet sand the fish eyes and give her the whole 9 yards then ceramic coat it once I get a few really nice days.
