I saw spots on the driveway after about a week of having the new Tremor home and immediately made a note to myself to check my daughter's car. The next day I saw some paper, something left over from shipping under the front of the Tremor and saw it, a wet hose and drips, lots of them. I looked and immediately feared a transmission hose leak. I called a local dealer and they had a 2 week backlog and couldn't even look at it for 2 weeks. I called the other local dealer (one I have done a good amount of business with) and they were happy to look at it, just bring it in. At the end of the day it wasn't the transmission but the power steering pump. They ordered the parts and I dropped off the new Tremor this afternoon. I asked how long it would take to do the repair and the service manager said he didn't know, they haven't had to replace a power steering pump on the 7.3 yet, lol. I guess that is good news, huh? Anyway, thought I'd share. When I walked away I told them to take care of her, he laughed as he took it to the service bay, just hoping he didn't make a lap at the off-road park in between.
